A/N: Thanks so much for checking out this book!! If you like this book, you'll love my other books too!

"Are you free tomorrow?" I question my best friend of 12 years, Megan.

"Yeah, why?"

"Well, that's when I'm moving into my dorm. I was wondering if you could help me?" I say, kicking a rock across the parking lot. We're on our way back to my house to meet my mom to talk about what I can and can't do at College.

"Of course, I'd love to help. If you help me move too." I can't believe tomorrow is the day I've been planning on for years. I knew the first time I heard about The Ohio State University that it would be the college I would go to.

"Ok. We have a lot to move and I'll need all the help I can get." I say lightly chuckling.

"I could ask Ryan if he can come if you want."

"That'll be perfect. Thank you." I say as she opens the door for us both.

"No problem."

"Berkeley? Are you back already?" My mom yells from the kitchen.

"Yeah." I say taking off my coat, even though its only the beginning of fall, it is already getting cold in New York.

"Well come in here and sit down so I can lay out some ground rules."

"Alright." I say walking into the kitchen where I see my mom and dad.

All she ever does is give me rules and she'll love me until I break a small, irrelevant rule, she yells at me and calls me irresponsible and that I shouldn't even be driving because I'm not responsible enough.

"Okay, I know that you never listen when I talk so here, I made this list for you so you can read it." She hands me a paper with a bunch of

1) Since you got accepted to OSU for good grades, I expect good grades. And by good grades, I mean 95-100%

2) NO PARTYING! If I ever hear about you going to some frat party, I swear you'll never see the light of day again.

3) Along with partying, there will be absolutely no alcohol or drugs.

4) No hanging out with that crowd.

5) No sex. You better come back home a virgin.

6) No losing your books.

7) Be on time to all of your classes.

8) Respect your professors.

9) No office referrals.

10) No skipping/ditching class.

11) No cheating on tests/quizzes/essays/etc.

12) No spending over $1,500 a month (Including tax).

13) You have to study for at least 3 hours a day.

14) Attempt a sport, but make sure it won't interrupt your learning.

"Does it all make sense?" She asks after I've read it all.

"Yeah, of course, Mom." It all makes sense except for the fact that my mom is a nut-job who loves rules too much.

"Good."

"I'm going up to my room with Megan now."

"Okay. Start packing for tomorrow."

"I will." I say running up the stairs with Megan trailing behind.

Once we get into my room, Megan gets a call from, I'm assuming, Ryan. She stays on the phone for about 3 minutes before hanging up.

"What all do you need packed?" Meg asks.

"Well, I'm not sure what the weather is like in Ohio but I heard it's always different so I'll have to pack both winter and summer clothes."

"Okay. What about furniture?"

"I need everything on my bed, my desk, my lamp, my nightstand, my mirror, and my dresser. Oh, and I need my paintings." Painting and writing are the only two things that can calm me down. At times, I would wonder if I should go to an art school but I wanted to go to OSU instead.

"We can do clothes first, it'll be easier." I suggest and we start packing. "Make sure you separate them by season, please."

"Yes ma'am." She says back jokingly.

I pack the summer clothes, and Meg packs the winter clothes. It actually doesn't take all that long, only about 30 minutes.

"I can't believe we're already in college."

"I know, right? It seems like we've been planning for it for such a long time. It doesn't even seem real."

"I'm going to miss you." I say, my eyes are already tearing up and I haven't even left yet.

"I'm going to miss you too. We'll have to do one of those pictures where we both take a picture with half a heart and then match them up."

"Yeah." I agree. "We should do that today, we probably won't have much time to do it tomorrow.

"Where should we go?"

"We could go to Eisenhower Park since it's just down the road."

"Alright" She nods and we leave and go to the park.

The walk over isn't as cold as I expect but it's still chilly so we try to be fast with our pictures.

"These will look great on my wall." I say as we print them out. "We'll have to get frames too."
