Jump City University

First Day

Rachel sighed as she hit the snooze button on her alarm clock three times. She was hoping that she could pretend she was sleep so her mom would not make her go to school that day,but no her mom came barging in. ''Rachel time to get up it's 7:45 you have to be a school by 9:00 come on sweetie.'' Her mom, Arella was sweet as pie but Rachel got annoyed when she would be excited for the first days of school because 'it was her opportunity to make friends.' But it never goes well each year thats why she transfers school every  year. Rachel groans and whips the covers off her body. She forced a smiled at her mom,as she walked to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and headed back to her room to get dressed. She put on a black crop tee that had her favorite bands symbol on it,then she put on black shorts and grey leggings and black with rhinestones mid-way heel ankle length boots. She brushed her hair down and grabbed a grey jacket and headed downstairs for breakfast. She looked at the clock '8:30' she thought. ''Bye mom!'' she said as she grabbed a banana and ran out the door before she could take a picture. '30 minutes till school.' she thought and she headed around the corner to her favorite store.'Book and Tea.' she had some money to buy a book and some of her favorite tea,herbal tea.  Rachel headed in the store and saw nobody familiar but the store clerk. ''Hey Mal you know the regular.'' The guy, Malchoir smiled and grabbed her a herbal tea. ''Here you go,i'll see you at school.'' Rachel for the first time smiled and it was real that whole morning. You could also see a hint of red on her pale cheeks. Raven walked out the store sipping her tea. '8:45' she thought. She arrived five minutes later at 8:50. She braced herself and breathed hard before walking into the school. She looked around and saw dozens of teenagers. 'Jocks,Emos,Dorks,and guys who think they can get a girl.' she walked pass all of them. She sat at her own table and started to read. ''Hey Pale girl this is our table.'' the Girl said slamming her hand down on the table. Rachel looked up from her book and said,''well i guess you have to find another one cause i ain't moving.'' Rachel said looking back at her book. ''This is our table,either you move or we make you.'' Rachel ignored and kept reading and the girl stomped away with a 'humph.' Rachel rolled her eyes. ''Gurl you showed her.'' Rachel looked up at  4 girls standing before her. ''Huh?'' she said. ''You are awesome.'' they all sat down around her. ''That is Kona she is my big sister.'' a girl with blazing red hair said. ''I'm Kori Anders!'' she said cheerfully.''I'm Terra Markov!'' a girl with mid-way long blonde hair said. ''i'm Beatrice lance!'' the girl from early who appeared dark-skinned. ''and i'm Jenny!'' a girl with short light pink hair said. i nodded,''I am Rachel. Rachel Roth.'' i said quietly. ''Well Hi rachel whats your next class?'' 'Kori' said. ''uh science with dr.....light!'' i said looking up at them.'' I have that class.'' Terra said,''You can come with me.'' i smiled the tiniest smile. ''okay.''
