The next day I start asking my friends what they did on Saturday night.
Ashley said she hung out with Olivia.
Frankie said she played some basketball.
Mikayla said she had a piano recital.
Brianna said she studied bio and cooked some desserts, I knew that was very true because she brought me a delicious cupcake and cookie.
Then the last person I asked was Tori, she says, “Oh nothing, just watched TV and painted my nails.”
I look at her nails, absolutely nothing. Could she have watched that movie with Paul? Julia comes and asks me to watch a trick that she taught Dexter. I see Tori walk off towards Paul’s office. Dexter finishes his trick; I applaud and rush over to the door way of his office.
I hear, “I think she is catching on to us. What should we do?”
It sounds like Tori's voice. “So it is true!” I whisper to myself.
