Every once in a while we meet someone that we feel will surely stick around. We try imagining ourselves doing things with that person in the future. We may see them as our soulmate, best friend, companion, or something else. But there's no actual certainty they'll be around for good. And when the time comes that they need to leave, you don't have a choice but to let them go. The unmeasurable pain you get after they leave, that big empty space in your heart, that will all be temporary. No matter how hurt you are, you can still recover. And you will, in time. And after all this, you'll realize something; you'll realize that even though that person left, you're happy for the moments you ahred together. You'll be thankful for lessons they gave and left you with. That even after everything, you'll be happy to say that that someone was once a passerby in your life.
