PROLOGUE

I've got a secret just don't you dare tell..

I am Dyre. I am an angel. But here we are called the innocents.

Sworn for all eternity to our Father.

Our aim is to rid of the world of horrible sins.

But they never listen to us. The Humans or Earth-dwellers.

Now.. sent down here to walk in human feet and my wings hidden from the eyes of man. I am in a mission.

A quest that might save the human race from the wrath of evil.

I have to... enlighten and bring salvation to a lost soul.

Lucifer had tainted his blood.

He is part human and part devil.

But there is nothing impossible for those who have faith, isn't there?

I have to accomplish this.

But what do I do?

And how do I do it when this very young boy isn't quite a boy anymore?

How do I fight him and let him learn from the hundreds and thousands of mistakes he'd done his whole lifetime?

How do I fight of a devil like him?

I am only a new innocent.

I was named Dyre a Scandinivian name that means beloved or precious one.

It was unlike them...

They were warriors, messengers and protectors...

What am I?

I don't even know what I can do...

How do I teach him?

What can I show him that Lucifer could never give him?

And what is that?

What can the Devil never counter?

What is it the Devil can never have?
