The Night Shadow

THE NIGHT SHADOW

" I am a night shadow,

Hidden behind those dark hallows,

I am your night shadow,

In the darkest depths of your heart is where I wallow.."

Creeping up behind this tall walls I am unseen.

Invisibility, that is one of the few powers I cherish for being an angel. But everytime I use it. It's as if, my breathing becomes constricted.

But it's worth it... I guess.

" Come on... come on..." , I hissed under my breathe.

You know, I get the feeling Seth wasn't kidding about having me. Or rather, OWNING me! He looks at me oddly. It feels like I'm being stripped nude. Plus, my skin being torn from me. It hurts, and it burns. He keeps eyeing me in places I just hate.

Like, my thing down there... °o° (It's ugly, trust me. I have no idea what's that excess thing for except for peeing. In heaven, we never use them.)

And... the built in cushion I landed on when I fell from the heavens. I'm not sure what they call it. But yeah....

It creeps me out. Worse, it feels good from him. I know, I said I felt agonizing pain but by heaven! I have no idea how it even works! But its good. Like the heavenly touch of sin. Delightfully painful...

What am I thinking?

I saw the flash of jet black clothing. If he ever tries to stick next to a black wall he'd be blending in well like a camellon. Only his perfect smooth face can be seen. And his purr-fect face is all I want... and maybe his body too. (mmmmm)

Ugh! Snap out of it!

He was walking alone. Like he always does.

Huffing to himself and glaring at each and every living soul.

Well.... his bad boy image does not affect me. (maybe a little)

I follow him along the steps. His strides were easy, counted and cool. Confidence boasted from his posture. He was an epitome of perfection.

That is, if he wasn't Satan's Son.

The brood of the devil.

Born to turn the earth into living hell.

I huffed to myself....

He turned.. scanning the area.

I didn't move... What the hell? He can he me? I mean really? For all I know,.. nobody can see and hear me... but I can make them feel my prescence..

I was like ghost.

" Dyre...", he whispered.

My name rang in my own thoughts...

My sheild broke into a gazillion pieces.

I just realized... I had finally materialized infront of him...

I was whole, seen, human.

I was vulnerable.

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

A smile crept across Seth's face...

And I can tell it wasn't friendly.

" Uh yeah.. I was just leaving.. ", I turned to make a run for it. But time had stopped again. This time... everything went silent. He stopped time and life as well. No breathing... no nothing....

He's going to kill everybody...

" Seth! What did you just do? ", I cried in horror as slowly... I saw souls slowly slipping away.

Slipping....

Leaving their vassals...

There is going to be a mass death...

Seth...

Tears leaked down my eyes... like gems... They were meant to heal.. but it shattered into the earth. Useless.

Seth please!

He suddenly appeared behind me.

Hands roaming over my shirt... He was thumbing the waist band on my jeans... slowly tugging in down. He palmed my thing down there... I gasped...

What the?! So that's what...

it does...

I whimpered against him.

His front was pressed warmly against my back.

He was the only person I could hold on...

Seth...

Let them go... and take me instead...

His hands dropped to his sides.. I also dropped on the floor gasping.

" You choose them? They belong to hell Dyre! They belong to me! You are just a pitiful innocent! You think sacrificing yourself to me would change them? You... you're just another ordinary angel.., There is nothing you can do."

He laughed.., It reverberrated in my ears.

I bit my lip... unsure of what to say.

" Yes... I am another ordinary angel."

I pushed myself up and stood to my full height. I was only by his chin but I didn't care..

I looked up to him. Straight in his eyes...

" It is me you want.. let them go..."

We were inches away...

He smiled,

" Well then, if you love them so much... surrender to me."

I gulped.

" What do you want?", I asked.

He traced a finger along my jaw line...

" I will be your night shadow,
