I slam my head on the desk. What have I done? I should of read it. I should of! What have I done. Those words won't leave my head. I cry.
"Lindsey! A boy is here to see you!" Mom.
"Who?" I say trying to make it seem like I haven't been crying.
"His name is" She pauses probably asking for his name "Yelson" I laugh a bit "I mean Kelson"
"One minute." I hurry and make myself look decent. "Send him up!"
Ok don't blow this I can't I'm too far ahead. Don't blow this. Foot steps. Don't cry runs through my mind.
"Hi..." He says. His hands behind his back. My eyes snap to his and they stay there.
"Hi" I sniffle.
"I waited." His voice cold as ice.
"I messed up. I did."
"I waited." He puts his hands in front of him and reveals a dozen red roses. I gasp. He continues. "I waited wondering if you really cared abou-"
"I do! I do I really do. Kelson I got home and read the note and cried because I could get there."
I was tearing up. DONT CRY! Too late. He looked at me put the flowers on the bed and came over to me and wrapped his arms around me. His arms were warm.
"Lindsey" Mom walks in. "What's going on?" Kelson is white as a ghost.
"S-she was crying I-I was comforting her?" He takes his arms away and knows my mom would kick him out and starts walking to the door. My mom grabs him by the arm. He looks at her.
"Downstairs now."
"Mom no. Don't do th-"
"NOW!" Crap.
I sit in my room. Wondering what my mom is yelling about. I don't know what to do. I try opening my door. But it's locked from the outside. I should of sent him away. I know it. I wonder what's going on down there it's been a while. Footsteps. I hold the roses. My mom walks in.
"You need to stay away from him"
"I cant!"
"Why?"
"I love him. And you can't stop love."
