Up there is Xander black, leader of the blood moon pack.^^^
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*It was dark. Eerily dark, black and grey storm clouds swirling angrily across the sky, like a artist who went through a goth faze. The icy Spring wind making me shiver, pulling at the thick chains in order to gain some warmth. "Alpha Jackson, so lovely to see you again. What's new?" My father said to the terrifying man in front of us. White hair, dark, almost black eyes, and an accent that makes my skin crawl when ever he said my name.
"Cut the crap, Ryan. Give me the girl." He hissed. "Don't you remember, we had a deal, you give me the money, I give you..." He yanks at my chains, bringing forward into his view. "The goods" . Alpha Jacksons eyes flicker from me to my dad.
"Deal"*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I woke up in a cold sweat, heart beating wildly as Liam stared at me in concern.
"Are you ok?" He asked. I felt the tears trickle down my cheeks and onto the duvet as I shook my head no. Liam embraced me in a hug, soothingly running his thin fingers through my hair. "It's ok, daisy." I heard him mumble. Who's daisy? I thought.Liam must've noticed what he said, and, with a defeated sigh, he said "Daisy was my daughter. She... She looked just like you, and sometimes she would crawl in bed with me whenever she had nightmares. I honestly thought she was you." I feel something wet hit my nose. I looked up and saw that Liam had tears sparkling in his eyes.
"What happened?" I ask out of curiosity. "When the disease hit, the Alpha took all women and put them through tests to see if he could cure it. Daisy..." I put my hand on his, silencing him. It must've hurt to see your daughter taken away like that. I hear Liam sniff, and say "So, what's your story? I mean, you pretty much survived it, so why are you here? Shouldn't you be with your pack?"
I take a deep breath. Can I trust him? "When the disease hit my old pack, white river, my mother, she was the pack doctor. Before it happened, she was making new medicines and vaccines, I guess they thought..." I close my eyes at the memory of my pack declaring my mother a witch, throwing her in the cells, pouring all her hard work down the drain. " They thought she did it, and... She was sentenced to death. Too bad she didn't live till then. No one helped her, saying she bought it on herself, she was left to rot."
"So you ran away?" Liam asks.
"No, my mom vaccinated me when she made it. I think that was the cure. My dad... He got angry at my mom for vaccinating me, saying I was 'tainted' with 'black magic'. He... Sold me. For 25, 000 dollars to Apha of the black rose pack. I managed to escape, and I've been running ever since."
We sit in silence for a while, at least in till my stomach groaned for food. Liam gave a little chuckle, raising himself of the bed and stretching. "Why are you so thin?" I ask, staring at his ribs that jutted out of his skin, his high cheekbones. "When all the mates partners started to die, most of the males turned to alcohol. So we can't make a very good hunt if our hunters are hungover, and were too far away from human towns to get food. Hunting is the only option."
He walks out of the room, closing the door behind him. "I'll be back soon, I'll just cook us some breakfast. take a shower if you want. You can wear some of Daisy's old clothes." He says just before he closes the door. I look all around the room, spotting a pink door with painted Daisy's on it. Cautiously I open it, revealing a huge room painted pink, bookshelves lining the walls, a love heart shaped bed with teddy bears sat next to each other on pink silk sheets. What is it with this place and silk? I think, walking over to the pink wardrobe in the corner of the room. I gingerly open it, expecting to see pink.
I riffle through the hangers, and select a purple long sleeved t-shirt, thick dark blue jeans, and a pink hoodie. I can borrow his boots. I walk out of the room, and into a bathroom so big it makes water world a disgrace. Peeling off my clothes, I turn the shower on, and step in. The water soothes my tense muscles, making me feel relaxed as I find the shampoo, pouring some into my hand, and then working it through my scalp. I rinse and repeat. After I have used conditioner, I leave it in my hair whilst I clean my body, trying to steer clear of my fresh scars and bruises.
After a while, I finish, turning off the shower and stepping out. I grab a towel, wrapping my hair up in a turban, before I wrap another towel around my body. I look at myself in the spotless mirror, grimacing at the black rings under my eyes, my eerily pale skin and spot a few pimples hiding in my hairline. I open up a medicine cabinet, pulling out a bag of makeup. I hurriedly put some on and return the bag.
Once I'm changed, I walk downstairs to see Liam holding a tray with a plate of pancakes drizzled with honey and with a square of butter nestled at the top. "We're out of syrup, so I had to improvise." He says sheepishly. I take the tray from him, savouring the sweet smell that made me think of when I was 10, and mom made me a steaming pile of pancakes when I woke up. I smile at the memory, taking a forkful of pancake and dipping it in the growing pool of honey. I almost moaned as I chewed the pancake slowly, almost like it would disappear if I stopped.
"You must really like pancakes." Liam says. "Myeah" I say through a mouthful of pancake. Like all good things, the pancake soon disappeared, and my tummy stopped grumbling. Liam cleared the plates away, siting next to me. "We need to tell the Alpha your here, if he finds out about you hiding here, he could kill me." He looked at me with pleading eyes.
"Fine, but I'm staying here with you." I said, nervously biting my lip. What will the Alpha do to me? Will he claim me as his own like Alpha Jackson tried to do? And will he succeed?I feel tears prick at the corner of my eyes at the memory. "Ssshhh, it's ok." Liam said, engulfing me in a hug. We stayed like that for a while, Liam comforting me while I bury my head in his chest and try to forget the crazy situation I was stuck in.
