Dan and Phil were stood outside in the cold weather, shivering. They heard the door open
"Hiiii! Come in!" Zoe answered the door and hugged them both individually, Phil first. "Come in come in! There's food on the table, over there" Zoe directed them towards the long red silk table with every kind of party food you could ever imagine, Phil's wintery eyes lit up.
"Alfie, say hi to Dan and Phil! You guys are the second people to come, more will be here don't worry!" Dan looked around their house. It was a lovely house, had a warm feeling to it. It was a large house, much bigger than his and Phil's, he glanced at all the candles that were laying around. It reminded him of Phil's plant fetish.

As guests came pouring into Zoe's home, Dan was stood near the table of food munching on the mini cocktail sausages and tea cakes and mini fingers. Why is everything so mini at parties? Dan didn't know where Phil was, probably talking.
"And here's Dan, say hi Dan" Cat. Oh how he hated Cat.
"Hello" he mumbled sarcastically. "Don't mind me I'm just here eating all the food" he let out an uncomfortable giggle. Cat leaned into him, turned her camera off, "Cute" she said and waddled off. Probably to find Phil.
The amount of times people came up to him with cameras stuffed into his face was too much. Dan had decided that if one more person came, he would blow up and leave.
"Dan! I found you"
Are you fucking kidding me? Dan turned around and saw Louise's bright red face staring at him. "Where's Phil? I thought you'd both be together?" Louise was the only friend Dan and Phil had trusted with their secret.
"Oh, no, Phil is too nice to be sat at a table eating mini food throughout the whole party, he's probably talking to someone"
"Oh right, do you mind?" Louise gestured herself towards where Dan was sat
"Of course"

The party had long finished and Dan and Phil were in a taxi on the way home. "Well that was fun!" Dan almost shouted
"Yea, I guess" Phil sounded agitated
"What's up?"
"Oh, nothing" Phil's face was like a beetroot, he looked out at the bitterly cold weather outside.
"Phil? Are you sure? You don't seem alright?" Dan put his hands on Phil's icy ones.
"I'm fine" Phil pulled his arm away so quickly he almost punched the door.
