Basketball Game/Part 1

David was coming to watch me play. So was my family and my friends. I was super nervous. If i do something wrong in the game my brothers will criticize me because they thing they know everything about basketball. They all are on the boys basketball team. Everyone was going to be at our game. The band, cheerleaders,  students, and family, like legit everyone. I felt pressured because I am playing up on varsity and I am playing JV first. I just want to show my coached that I want to stay on Varsity. Since I am a Freshman being on JV and dressing for Varsity is great, since there is a Freshman team, but I want to show them I have what it takes. We are playing against Lawrenceburg. They are our biggest enemies. That made me even more pressured because we are expected to win by the school.

My team went into the locker room got changed and did some team bonding. Then them coach came in and gave us our pregame talk. We put on our shooting shirts and ran to the gym. We had about 20 mins till the game started so we stretched and shot around. I looked up at our student section and there was David smiling at me. I smiled back and continued shooting. Our student section was huge and I looked at my brothers girlfriend, who is on the team with me, and we were both panicking a little(Alyssa). Then the coach called us in and went over our plays. The buzzer went off and we huddles in the middle and announced the starters for the JV team which I am one of them. When they announced my name David yelled that's my girlfriends like the other girl's boyfriends did. I knew i was blushing because the girls were smirking at me. I playfully rolled my eyes at them and laughed.

The game started and I am point guard. We won the tip so i grabbed the ball and yelled out the play. We ran it correctly and we got a basket off of it. The first quarter went by okay and we are loosing by a basket. My nerves were gone and I was pumped. Then the buzzer went off and we broke and the five girls who are in stepped on the court. The coach sat me out for a moment to catch my breath. When 2 mins past he put me back in. When there was 2 mins left of the quarter someone from the other team picked up their dribble so I fought to take the ball away the everyone helped to get it and I fell on my back and hit my head and my elbow off the ground really hard. I laid there for a second while people tried to get up. My teammates helped me get up and I continued playing. Then the buzzer went off and it was half time. When we got to the locker room i was crying and they put this thing on my elbow to protect it. Everyone said they heard me hit the ground. Then they said me and David are goals because when i fell he stood up and they were like aweeee. I chuckled and then we had our pep talk. We went out to shoot and the student section was like right behind our basket we were shooting. Everyone's boyfriends were yelling to their girlfriend and David was like "i love you #11". I blushed then I looked at Alyssa and she nodded at me and i went over to David and kissed him. Everyone awed and he told me good luck and he kissed my forehead. I said love you back and went back to shooting. I sat the 3rd quarter so I can play on the varsity game. When the game ended we won and we were happy. I am dressing for varsity so the girls and I who are dressing changed into my varsity uniform and went out to shoot with the girls.

After the game.

I played like the whole varsity game and i was tired. We won and I scored a lot of points. I hit my head off the ground again and i have a huge headache. The team changed after we had our after game pep talk. The team and I walked out of the locker room and went to our parents because it is the end of the game. David is standing with my Mom, brothers, dad, and sisters. Alyssa and I walked over there and David hugged me and kissed me. My brother and Alyssa went off and did their own thing. I was allowed going home with David to stay the night. It is Friday night so we might party.
