I pushed my way through the yelling crowds and hopped onto the train just as the doors snapped shut. The constant pounding of rain on the train roof kept me awake as I climbed upstairs to find a seat.
''Over here Mick!'' someone shouted.
I scanned the carriage and spotted Tyler Anderson, waving at me like we hadn't seen each other since kindergarten.
A grin spread across my face as I identified my other skater friends Sky Frolic and Mitch Hearty (who was stuffing himself with the usual. ie. Two Big Macs and a tub of mint choc ice cream despite the weather)
I waved back enthusiastically, unable to wait for the trip to Paris during summer break.
I dumped my sports bag and luggage on the floor and lounged on one of the triple seaters. ''Thanks Mitch'' I said as I stole his spoon and dug into the ice cream.
''So how've you guys been?'' I mumbled through a mouthful of the chocolaty delight.
''Well...Sky and I got together. '' Mitch said slowly and started to change the topic, ''Mickayla Jones do you have any idea how much I missed you?'' while I continued chorusing ''Sky Hearty'' over and over until the entire carriage looked at me like I had leprosy.
Which was when I noticed a set of warm hazel eyes on the other side of the carriage that held mine for less than a fraction of a second before darting away...

Oh yes, and don't forget the mystery guy
Age: coming soon, Height: 5'10, Hair: light brown, Eyes: Hazel
