Introduction

It was a few weeks after William Lewis had taken Liv, and Nick was staying at Liv's house because he was on trail for excessive force. Liv was still dating Brian. Nick felt like he was in the way of everything that they had going on. Later on that night Liv had Brian come over for dinner
*there was a knock on the door*
"Ah that must be Brian" Liv exclaimed as she ran to the door wiping her hand on her pants in the process.
"Hey Liv" Brian said and kissed her on the top of the head. They went and sat next to Nick on the couch. Liv in between Brian and Nick.
"Hey Brian" Nick said as he sat down
"How's the trial" Brian asked
"Ok I guess, I would rather not even be on trail though" Nick laughed a little
"Hey boys what do you want for dinner"
"I really don't care let Brian decide"
"Liv there is something I have been meaning to tell you" Brian said as he looked down at the floor
"Well what is it Brian"
"I don't think that we should be together anymore"
—Liv got up and ran to her room almost in tears—
"What the hell was that for Brian" Nick yelled
"We both were going trough some rough times and I don't think it is good to see each other at times like this" Brian exclaimed
"Liv has it way harden than it seems so don't act like you have it so hard"
"Well Nick I have it harder than it seems" Brian said and headed for the door.
    When Brian was out the door Nick knocked on Olivia's door before walking in. At first he didn't see her, but the he herd crying coming from the closet. So he went over to the closet and opened the door.
"Hey Liv it will be ok"
"No it won't Brian just broke up with me so I have no one again"
"You don't have no one" Nick exclaimed
"Yes I do that is how all of my relationships work! Once as I start to trust them then they leave!" Liv started to cry again.
"You have me and I would never leave you" Nick said and wiped away some of her tears.
"Do I really? What about Maria and Zara" Liv asked
"Remember they moved to Washington" Nick said with a reassuring smile.
Nick pulled her close and hugged her. She laid his head on his chest. Nick wanted to be with her since the day he had meant Liv. But he was still married to Maria and couldn't leave Zara like that. Now he had his chance to go for Liv.
