Chapter 1
"I love you," he whispered in my ear. I smiled and whispered, "I'll love you too, always." He kissed me, and I found myself out of breath like always. " Babe, you will always have me. I'm always yours. You have my heart so get used to this." He kissed me again and I knew in some way he was in some way making fun of me but I couldn't help but smiling knowing he was mine. All mine.
When we got back to my house I invited him in. When we opened the door my parents and my little sister and brother were standing there. "Hey Lila and Blake." My parents have told him so many times to call them by their first names and he has. They smiled and this must have pleased them. "Hi Grace, hi Jacob." He waved to my sister and brother. They smiled. I guessed they liked being noticed.
My family loved Konner. They thought his was funny, thoughtful, and sweet. One thing that didn't matter but was a plus, he was absolutely gorgeous. Grace and Jacob would run around and yell, "Konner and Olivia, Konner and Olivia." I didn't even tell them to shut up because to be honest. I loved it. They sound of our names together was great.
"Mom, can I go out to dinner with Konner tonight?" I pleaded. "I suppose." I hugged and thanked her and went to get ready. We graduated last year and have been together since sophomore year. Our friends knew we would end up together. I heard a knock on the door, which pulled me from the past. I ran downstairs and was met by a very gorgeous Konner waiting at the door.
My dad was a doctor so I got whatever I wanted. I always drove because I had a beautiful black, lifted Chevy. Konner loved that I was obsessed with Chevy. We both hated Fords, which was just another thing we had in common. I loved my truck so I didn't mind driving but tonight I let Konner drive. He smiled and gave me a kiss. It was worth letting him drive just for that. When we got to the restaurant he asked the waitress to give us a more private table. I wondered for a second about that but when I realized I would be alone with him I didn't think twice.
"You know I love you right?"
"Of course. What is this about Konner?"
"Okay it is time." He whispered.
"Time for what?"
"Olivia Anne Jones, I love you and I always will. Will you marry me?" He smiled
My heart skipped a beat and I couldn't breathe. Konner Cody Brown wants to marry me?
I took a deep breath. He was looking at me with his beautiful blue eyes that mesmerized me. It seemed like forever before I answered.
"Konner Cody Brown, I love you and I will absolutely marry you!" I smiled so big it made my cheeks hurt. He got off the ground and grabbed me. He pulled me so close and kissed me for what seemed like forever but I didn't want it to stop. When it did stop he could see the worry in my eyes. What was I going to tell my parents? He knew what I was thinking and said, "I asked your dad for permission so don't worry, they know." I let out a deep breath. "How did you know that's what I was worrying about?"
"I just know you."
When we got done with dinner we went to a movie. He snuggled me close to him. We didn't even watch the movie we were making out the whole time. When he pulled away from me I was kind of disappointed. I didn't want it to stop. He smiled automatically knowing and said, "Relax future Mrs. Brown. You will get plenty of me. I just wanted to know if you wanted some popcorn or a drink?"
"Nope I only want you." I smiled along with him and we started back right where we left off.
