"Yes I'll be there, don't worry" I say to Tony as I walk into my office.

I am brought to a hault when I see Kaye sitting in my chair. She has her feet on my desk, her black pumps smiling at me. She has a smile on her face that made me a little nervous she is never up to anything good.

"Hello are you still there?" I heard her say in my ears.

"Ill call you back" I hung up my eye not leaving hers. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you" she said taking to her feet. "We need to talk"

"Oh really whatever about" I say playing dumb.

I know exactly why she's here a few months ago I cut her off. I removed her name from all of my accounts and cancelled all of her cards. I guess she's tired of being broke and alone.

"Us" she said softly.

I narrow my eyes at her, did she really just say us? I must be hears wrong, this can't be happening not now.

"What about us?" I ask taking a seat in my chair.

"I want a second chance to make things right. I know I've messed up but if you just gave us a second chance you can see how much I've really changed" she say with pleading eyes.

I so want to believe her, I want with all my heart to believe that this just isn't one of her schemes to pull me back in then when she has access to all my money she kicks me out again. She walks up to my desk and placed light kisses on my face. I close my eyes and try to find the will to break away from her. She pushes my chair back and try to saddle me when I push her away. I can't do this not to Tony not after all that we have been through. My phone rings and I go to answer it when she takes it from me and answers it.

"Mac's phone his wife speaking" She says in a chripy tone.

I quickly grab the phone from her and put it at my ears. The line went dead, I look back at her and she has pleased smile on her face. This is all just a trick yi get access to my money and again. I grab her by the shoulders and squeeze, I will not loose the woman I love because of her I won't.

"You can do whatever you want to me am not giving up on us " she says through gritted teeth.

I release her and head for the door by now Tony is probably think that am back with her. I can't have her think that no way I have to talk to her.

TPOV

The sound of her sweet clam voice is still in my head. I try to focus on my garden salad but I can't all I can think about is her. What was she doing at Mac's office I hope she didn't do or say something to push him over the edge. As much as I don't want to think about it I know that she still have a hold in him. It makes me wonder if he would go back to her if she said that she wanted him back. Would he? I mean they are legally married, and it's not like he has anything stopping him. Would it be so bad if he went back to her it's not like this is going anywhere. I push my salad aside and take to my feet. I should get back to work I have so much to do. I think it would be best if I just cancel the dinner and try to catch up on my work. Yeah that would be good.

After I call the restaurant and cancelled the reservation. I headed to the back, because of the break in I am now two shelves behind in going through the war books. This should keep me busy enough to not think about my problems.

"Good night Tony" Marcy yelled as she left the library.

I am standing on a ladder in the war section trying to put back a book when my phone rang. I quickly climbed down and ran towards the back I look at the caller Id and noticed that it was Mac. I hit the end button and turn off the phone. This way I know he won't call me back. I place the phone in my bag and turn to walk out when I heard him say.
