You were always an open book
In which everybody can take a look
They are fooled by your happiness
Because they don't know your sadness
You have a smile that can light up the room
But deep inside you are in a dark room
People judge you by the way you act and talk
They said you're not yet ready for the big world
You have this childlike innocence
Which they think you don't have intelligence
You always follow what other say
But they never listen to what you wanna say
Time to know not everyone can be trusted
Coz if you do, you will be mistreated
They abuse you because of your kindness
But they never prioritize your happiness
It's not yet too late to do what you want
Do things that would make you happy
Don't be bothered by people around you
Maturity is taking chances
Being a looner doesn't mean you'll hate them
You just wanted privacy from them
Not everyone should know your story
It's time to close the book and the rest will be mystery
