Your the one who pushed me to leave. This was all your fault. If you weren't in my life, things would
have been better.----
I walked on, trying to ignore the giant coffee stain on my shirt. My day was fine until that ass ruined it.
I kept walking. Threw a park, then threw the streets of LA. I soon came to a old, small, brick library.
I walked in side, the smell of old books hung in the air.I looked around the bookshelves, peering at each book. I saw a velvet colored book and slowly reached for it. I pulled at the book and it wouldn't budge. Finally I let go and the book fell to the other side of the shelf. I walked around the corner to see the same brown eyed boy from the coffee shop.
I rolled my eyes "I was looking at that book."
"So was I," he smirked at me.
I let go of the book, and watched as he slowly put it back on the dusty shelf. My eyes glared at him, "Are you stalking me?"
"What, no way, why would you think that?"
"Well i'm here and so are you, it can't be an accident that your in the same place as me, so you are obviously stalking me."
He threw his hands in the air in defeat, "Okay, you got me i'm stalking you," he smirked at me.
Ew that smirk makes me wanna throw up.
"Just leave me alone, I don't even know you."He just starred at me, "but you can..."
His hand reached out for mine, I felt my breath get heavy.
"I'm Matthew, and you are?"I chocked, this couldn't be happing again, I won't let it happen again.
"None of your business," I snapped, "i'm leaving."
I swung around my back facing Matthew, and headed to the exit, before I made my way out a strong hand grasped my wrist.I looked back and there was Matthew.
"Don't just walk away like that, i'm trying to be settle and get to know you, but you have to be a little bitch about it."
The way he spoke, made me freeze up inside. He wanted to know me, he wanted to be "friends" with me or he just wanted to hook up. I could not let him see I wanted to give him a chance, I couldn't give in."You don't even fucking know who I am, and why should I even trust you? You probably just want to hook up for all I know."
The thing is I didn't know, he looked desperate for friends and was pleading me without say.His voice rose, "hook up? I don't want to hook up with you, you just look like a girl who needed someone to show her around LA, be her friend."
I gave in. In the end this could be a big mistake, reveal my past, relive it. I decided to keep my past to myself, start over, so why not start here?
I reached my hand out to his, "I'm Calista," I smiled.
He returned me a smile, one so bright it practically melted my heart, "Nice to finally meet you for real," he laughed a gorgeous one to.
"How about I show you to one of my favorite places in LA?""Sounds great," I followed Matthew, down to the streets of Los Angeles.
-----
"You have got to be kidding me," I rolled my eyes at Matthew.
"What? It's the best place around," Matthew twirled around the restaurant.
"In-n-out burger? Haha how about no."
He pouted, "come on please, try it, or are you one of those salad only girls?"
My eyebrows raised at him, "jumping to conclusions I see? I am not, now come on let's go."
Matthew ordered a burger, I just ordered some fries.
The whole time I just tossed my fries at him, we laughed and talked, like we knew each other for the longest time.I didn't want it to end, this moment, because when it did the truth may come out.
We were done eating and that's when my heart started to race, where was I gonna go. I didn't have the money for another hotel room. Crash on a bench, in the streets?
We left in-n-out, Matthew turned to me, "Do you have a place to go?"
I wanted to lie and say yes, but I couldn't, my words stuttered, "Um, no.." I slowly turned away.
"Hey," he grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. "Come crash at my place, we can watch a movie."
"Would your parents mind?"
"Nah there on their honey moon till next month."
He smiled, "come on, follow me."----
"Matthew your killing me, I hate exercise."
He looked back at me and laughed, "come on, it's only a few more minutes."
I was going to his house. Sleeping there, with a guy I just met, this could be a mistake, but i've had so many I honestly don't care anymore, this could also be an opportunity to start over.
