Darkness Falls
The full moon brightly shines high in the sky
Filtered through the trees darkness welcomes me
Sounds everywhere but silence triumphs all
Overhanging branches whip at my face
Blinded by the night I don’t see a thing
My only sense is touch and I feel all
I don’t dare turn around someone is there
Darkness wraps around me silencing me
