The next day had finally come. The girls slept through a never endless sleep. The school day seemed like it was going really slow. They felt like they were there for hours. The bus dropped them off outside Lucy’s house. They unlocked the front door and went into the house. “I need to lock the door back up, Kristen.” said Lucy. Lucy ran quickly to lock the door. She came running back with 2 torches. “Here, take this.” said Lucy as she passed a torch to Kristen. “Are you ready, Lucy?” said Kristen. “I’m ready!” said Lucy. Both of the girls quietly crept down the basement stairs, trying not to make a sound. When they got to the bottom, they looked around everywhere. They shone their torches on every box. But nothing was to be found.
“We should just give up, we probably just imagined it...” said Lucy. At that moment something moved behind a box full of old china. The box full of china fell over, and smashed. CRASH! The china had scattered everywhere. The two girls saw a little creature run behind some boxes. “It’s over there!” said Kristen. The girls hurried over to the pile of boxes. They peeped over the edge of them. There was a little dragon looking creature. It was dark blue and it had white hair, going from the tip of its head to the center of its back. He had sharp claws, and he could breathe a tiny bit of fire, but only when it got mad. “Hello, little creature.” said Kristen. The girls had a closer look at the creature. They weren’t sure of what it was, but they bought down some water and food. They gave him left over pizza from yesterday.
The girls went onto the internet to find out more about the creature, and it turned out it was an Alakazam. Alakazams are small, dragon looking creatures. They can be any color, but they always have white colored hair. This one is a boy, because it can breathe fire, and girl Alakazams cant. They went back to check on the dragon, and he had already gobbled down the pizza. He must have been starving! “What should we call him?” said Kristen. “Hmm, what about Abe?” said Lucy. “That name will suit him! He looks like an Abe.” The girls refilled Abe’s water bowl and then they shut the basement door. They sat down to watch some T.V. Then there was a knock on the door. Lucy unlocked the door, peeping through the hole to see who it was. It was only her parents and her little brother, Ben. So she let them in. “Back already Mum?!” said Lucy. “Yes, Lucy you have realized its 5:30pm...” said Lucy’s Mum. “Wow, that time went very fast!” said Lucy. “Mum, can Kristen sleep over on Saturday? Please, please, please!” begged Lucy. “Fine, I’ll have to arrange it with her mother, to see if it’s okay with her.” said Lucy’s Mum. When they went to take Kristen home, Lucy’s Mum asked Kristen’s Mum if Kristen could stay the night, and she said it was fine. They just can’t wait to see Abe again!
