~SKORM~

My name is Skorm. I'm popular, swag, and rare. I have a squad, as many friends as I could want, and the best girlfriend ever. Every day I wake up to her soft snores, since she sleeps in my den sometimes. We're perfect. Heck, my whole life is perfect. Call me stuck up, call me snobby, but everything is perfect in my world. I see jammers walk by, my loyal fans, and can't help but smile. This is my life.

I suppose I was bound to get a girlfriend sometime. I mean, look at me: snazzy top hat and spike, indigo blue fur as glossy as cupid wings, and a personality bigger than Aparri's. I never really expected to get Try, though. She seemed so distant at first. I was the mortal, and she was the angel. Forever separated by some unknown force or entity. I'm not sure what happened, really. I remember some things, though...

I had started the day off with the same routine: wake up, hang out with Skortch, sneak some lunch before the fangirls found me, work, eat, then sleep. However, a little Jam-A-Gram in my mail interrupted my schedule somewhere around the "sneak some lunch" part. I still remember what it said. I think I still have it. I'll never let it go.

To Skorm:

Help, I know we haven't really talked, but I heard you're really rare. Somebody took everything in my den. Seriously. Everything is gone, like it was never there. I'm not faking, or asking for rares. I just need somebody to talk to right now, and my friends are unavailable at the moment. Please, can you head over?

Sorry for bothering: Try

I remembered my salad falling to the floor as I read the Jam-A-Gram. Try had wanted to talk to me. So, without hesitation, I ran to her den. After living in the same routine for half my life, I almost never ran. But now, I was running. Running to talk to Try. Running to meet Try. Running to comfort Try, who was waiting for me. She was counting on me.

We talked for what seemed like hours. She was sad, and I was happy. All I cared about in that moment was making sure Try was okay. After all, her friends weren't there to comfort her, so she chose me.

"I'm glad I sent that letter to you..." I remembered her saying. "I can't have my friends see me like this: crying and a wreck!"

She laughed somberly, wiping away a tear. I quickly gathered my courage, and put my arm around her. She stiffened, then relaxed against me, her eyes still puffy and red.

"Tell you what," I whispered softly, "I'll get you back those items. I'm sure I have some Mira statues and nature archways somewhere in my-"

"Thank you..." Try murmured weakly, and I could feel her hot tears fall on my fur. "Thank you, Skorm..."

After that, we were the best of friends. In fact, even more than friends. After talking to Try, I became more confident. I became more courageous. Soon, after months and months of preparation, I asked her out.

  She said yes.

I'm not quite sure what happened today. I was hanging with Skortch, until he had to go. Try tried to talk with me, but it all ended wrongly. I mean, it ended disastrously. I was at her den, talking with her about our lives, and everything that was happening. Try had been strangely quiet most of the time, and was just curled up against my side. I mean, she hadn't been talking to me as much anymore, and was always emitting some sort of somber feel. I didn't know what was wrong.
