A/N: I KNOW I NEED TO UPDATE MY OTHER BOOK IM SORRY I SWEAR IM WORKING ON IT
____________________Mitch didn't know how he ended up playing spin the bottle but yet here he was, sitting on the cold hard wood floors, praying that the bottle didn't land on him. He was at Scotts house party and was honestly not drunk enough for this. Mitch could still feel the sticky cherry lipgloss of the victim from his spin. Mitch let out a sigh of relief when the bottle didn't land on him. He did NOT need to kiss two girls in one night. Ew.
Hi relief was short lived when it was Avi's turn to spin. He felt his heart flutter nervously as the glass bottle spun for what felt like years. Mitch has been secretly into Avi all of sophomore year, but the senior had never gave him the time of day. They were in choir together but that was the only time he ever saw the man, sadly. So Mitch just admired him from afar.
The bottle slowed to an excruciatingly weak speed as it turned closer to him. Then, as if God wanted to torture him even more, it stopped on the girl next to him. She looked familiar but Mitch couldn't place her.
Mitch was surprised by the look of pure disgust across Avi's face.
"Ew no! I am so not kissing my sister!!" Avi yelled scandalized as the whole group of teenagers started laughing. 'Oh!' Mitch thought, 'that's why she looked so familiar'. Mitch laughed a long with the others until he realized that if Avi couldn't kiss Esther that means-
"Aviiii looks like your kissing little Mitchell..." Ester giggled while pointing at the bottle between them. Her and Avi shared a look that Mitch couldn't decipher, his mind wasn't really capable of thinking at the time.
Everyone looked at Avi, waiting for a reaction. 'What if he said no?' Mitch thought anxiously. 'What if he rejects me in front of everyone?!' Mitch looked down at the floor, trying to make himself as small as possible and bracing himself for the inevitable rejection.
To his surprise, he feels a hand bringing his chin up. Mitch looks up to see Avi sitting in front of him with a sly smirk across his face.
Mitch can hardly process his shock before he feels lips press against his own. The kiss ends too shortly as Avi backs away a bit. Avi looks at him with a hesitant vulnerability that Mitch decides he can't take another second of. He grabs Avi by his shirt collar and kisses him the way he's always wanted too. He feels Avi seeping the kiss and wrap his arms around Mitchs small waist. Mitch hums at the feeling and wraps his arms around Avi's shoulders bringing him closer.
They are jerked back to reality by the sound of Scott wolf-whistling at them. Mitch blushes remembering the audience and shoots a glare at Scott who laughs and throws his hands up in an apologetic gesture.
Mitch goes to back away when he realizes Avi hasn't let him go. "Avi?" Mitch asks quietly.
"Yes Mitchell?" Avi asked with a slight teasing tone.
"Are you planning to let go of me any time soon?" Mitch sasses back, catching Avi's playful behavior.
Avi looks up like he's thinking for a moment then shakes his head. "Nah."
Mitch laughs as Avi maneuvers them so Mitch is sitting in his lap. Everyone in the room started chatting excitingly at this new development before returning back to their game.
"I didn't know you even knew who I am." Mitch says while tracing Avi's arms that are still around his waist.
"Of course I know you!" Avi exclaims, "You're Mitchie! Our choir's own personal baby angel cherub."
Mitch feels giddy at the compliment and moves his arms back around Avi's shoulders. "So what you've been crushing on me all this time?" Mitch jokes.
"Um- maybe.." Avi admits with a nervous chuckle as he looks down at the floor. Mitch cradles the side of Avi's face and brings them just a breath width apart.
"Good." Mitch whispers against Avi's lips. And then they're kissing again.
Maybe spin the bottle isn't as bad as Mitch thought.
"Ow!" Mitch yelps as he breaks away from the kiss after being hit in the head with a pillow.
"Get a room!" Scott laughs but the smile fades as he sees a mischievous grin appear on Mitchs face. "Wait- no- I was kidding-" he's too late though because Mitch has already managed to get halfway up the stairs with Avi in tow. "NOT IN MY ROOM!!"
