[Do Hee's POV]
I woke up feeling light-headed, and felt something on my right hand. I looked down and a teenage boy was sleeping. He had his head on his right arm which was on the bed. His left hand was on top of mine.

He's good looking. But who is he? I looked around. It was so different from my room(In Korea). Am I in the hospital? There was a clock hung on the wall and it said "12.35p.m." It's afternoon. "Where's Eomma & Appa?" I questioned under my breath.

I moved my right hand a little, trying to get out of bed without waking the boy up. He seems really tired. Unfortunately, he groaned and started opening his eyelids. "Do Hee? Are you awake?"

How does he know me?!

Then he hugged me. "Oh thank goodness! I thought you'll never wake up! I'm so sorry!" He tightened the hug. "Nuguya(Who are you)? Where's Eomma & Appa? And what happened?"

"Naega(I'm) Hansol, but you call me Vernon. Your parents will be here soon. And you were hit by a truck last night..." His voice started to deepen as he hesitantly told me what happened. "What did the doctor say?" "Yoy have amnesia. You won't be able to remember quite a number of memories. But you'll be able to get them back.

What? "Yeogin eodi-ingayo(Where is this place)?" I asked. "A hospital in New York." I stared at him, surprised. "Today is your second day in New York." Hansol continued.

I'm in New York? And I was run over by a truck on the first day in New York? Wow~ So what happened before I came to New York? The last thing I remembered was about a month before Eomma & Appa left for their business trip for a week......

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of a door being slammed open. Eomma? Appa? But who are the ones behind my parents?

"Is she awa- *gasp* Omona! My daughter! Gwenchana? Are you still in pain? Da-eumbuteoneun josimhae(Be careful next time)!"

"Na gieokna(Do you remember me)?" Appa started. "Dangyeonhajyo(Of course). Neon nae(You're my) Appa." I nod and said. "Geunde(But), geudeul nugunde(Who are they)?" I shifted my eyes to a lady & an adolescent girl.

Hansol introduced them to me, then Eomma asked "What was the last thing you remember?"

Damn~

"A month(?) before you left for your business trip for a week." I smiled innocently at them. Appa & Eomma sighed.

The way they sighed tells me that they're hiding something from me. What is it? It must have happened recently... But why don't they want me to remember? Is that memory a bad one?

[Vernon's POV]
Aunt Min Young & Uncle Seojun sighed in relief once Do Hee answered their question. Why? It seems like they didn't want Do Hee to remember something...

I turned to Do Hee and she looked so deep in her thoughts.

"Here's your phone." Uncle Seojun passed Do Hee her phone. I watched as Do Jee went through her phone, her textes, her contacts, everything.
.
.
"When can my daughter be discharged?" Aunt Min Young asked the doctor. We(except Do Hee) were all outside of the room Do Hee's in, speaking to the doctor. "About a week later. We still have to monitor her." Then she turned to me as Uncle Seojun spoke to the doctor. "Hansol. Can you do me a favour?" I nod and grinned.

"Take care of Do Hee for me. Me & your Uncle are busy with our businesses so I hope you don't mind." "I'll do my best." I grinned and she smiled back. "Me and your Uncle have to go now. I'll see you later kid." She spoke and left with Uncle Seojun following behind. I walked into the room and Mum & Sofia was already beside Do Hee.

"Hey Hansol." Sofia called out and walked towards me. She then eyed me and smirked. "What?" Why is she smirking like that?! "Malhago sipeun ge mwoya(What do you want to say)?" I narrowed my eyes at her. "You seemed so worried for her. The way you cried for her, blamed yourself, took care of her... Are you..."

She's suspecting me! F*ck! "Don't you dare say it..." I hissed at her. "In love..-" "Shhh!" I covered her mouth with a right palm. What the hell does she want?! "Oh. So you are in lov-" Her voice was still heard even though it was blocked out by my palm. I stopped her by putting my other palm on her mouth.

She raised a brow. "Fine. Okay, I admit, I like her. Satisfied?" I glared at her, receiving a giggle in return. "Good luck confessing to her. I've already shipped the two of you since yesterday. So make it sail!" Sofia cheered but was interrupted by Mum. "Make what sail?"

"My ship." Sofia bluntly said, which surprised me. "What ship?" "My ship on the surface of the water in our bathtub." Sofia grinned and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Yeogi meomulleo(Stay here). We'll buy your lunches." Mum said to me and Do Hee, then dragging Sofia out with her.

"Hey... How are you feeling?" I started a conversation. "Deo joha(Better). Thanks for your concern." She grinned. "You don't have to speak formally." Then she chuckled. "Hey... Can I look at your phone, for a while?" I asked. "O-ok..." She hesitantly handed me her phone and she watched as I looked through her messages and contacts.

She only had her parents and some other relatives' contacts. There were no contacts named 'Bae', 'BFF' or whatever girls usually call their bestfriends or boyfriend. It's like she has no friends. Was she an outcast in school?

The recent texts she had received or had sent were from or to her parents. But the way she messaged that 'someone' before the car accident seemed like she was texting her boyfriend.

Aw Man~ Her boyfriend? I won't get a chance to spend my life with her! She has a boyfriend! I mean, the way she texted her 'boyfriend' yesterday was... she was smiling the whole time!

And plus, Do Hee is beautiful! Who wouldn't woo a beautiful girl?!

I sighed then returned Do Hee her phone. "Wae ireoni(What's wrong)?" Do Hee looked at me with anxiety running through her veins.

"Amugeotdo aniya(Nothing). Nothing's wrong. Get some rest. I'll wake you up once the food gets here." Do Hee smiled and drifted to sleep.

I eyed the way Do Hee sleeps. So peaceful~ Machi cheonsacheoreom(Like an angel)~

But how are the texts not there?! I'm sure it wasn't any of her parents whom she texted. Very sure! Did someone delete them? Well. I know that I'm not the one who deleted them.

The only hands that have touched Do Hee's phone was mine, Do Hee herself, and her paren- *gasp* Do you think that... her parents... erased those texts......?!?!?!

Nahh~ Why would they? Unless... it's for Do Hee's own good... Well... It is still possible that they did it...
