Berries.
Odie smelled berries, and he was going to find them. Up the hill, around the cliff. He could almost taste them. Finally, he found them. "At last!," he sighed. He reached out to grab some, when suddenly a purrloin appeared and snatched the berries. Odie frantically chased her, but she climbed a tree before he could get her.
"Jerk! Those were mine! Give them back!," Odie howled.
"You were too slow," the purrloin said.
Odie grumbled and stalked away. He walked for hours until he came across a path. Odie was surprised. He lived by the heart of the forest, where it was safer. He must have walked very far to get here.
Suddenly he heard a noise. It sounded like talking. He tried to run back into the forest, but before he could, a shout came.
"Look! A herdier! I'm gonna catch it!"
