Darkness.

Odie woke up to find himself strong and refreshed. I must have been healed, thought Odie. He knew there was no escape, for he heard tales when he was a lillipup that you can't escape, for even if you do get out on your own, the trainer can call you back into the Pokeball. Suddenly, the ball shifts and Odie starts to feel weird. Then his cells shift and he is transported from the Pokeball to the world. As he is put on the ground, his cells reform to normal and he stops glowing red. Odie looked around. He was in a room on a small bed for Pokemon. There was one window, and it was sealed shut. Across the room were two other beds. As Odie looked up, he saw the trainer who caught him. He growled softly at her. The trainer looked at him. "Well aren't you spunky! I hope you play nice with your team while I'm gone." She brought out two more Pokeballs. They opened and two Pokemon came out - the dewott and timburr. "Have fun!" the trainer called as she closed the door. A click from the door soon followed.

Odie whirled around and started growling at the other two Pokemon. The dewott immediately cried out "Whoa there! Stop your growling. We mean no harm to you. Let us introduce ourselves. I'm Otter and this is Mole." She gestured to the timburr. Odie then said "My name is Odie, and I need to esape from here.

"You can't escape. I've already tried." said Mole. "Besides, The only way you will be truly free is if you break your Pokeball, and the girl keeps it with her all the time. Unless you're with her all the time, there is no possible way to break it."

"Then that is what we will do," said Odie. When the others looked confused, he said " We will get as close as we can to her, like playing with her and being affectionate to her. Then, when she is asleep, we will steal the Pokeballs and break them. Then we will run. Every day when she leaves, we will devise a plan to escape this house. So who's with me?"

Odie reached his paw out. Mole did also. "I'm in." They looked at Otter. "Well..... I'm in too." She put her paw in. Odie said "Together." The plan to escape had begun.
