Part 4 {Rewritten}

{Kirito's POV}

I woke up to on the couch a bowl of popcorn in my lap. I looked at the TV and the title screen was some movie Suguha roped me into watching since Asuna was on that forced date. I looked at my phone and I had one missed call from her. I picked up my phone and called her back and after a bit of ringing I was about to hang up when I heard it pick up.

"Kazuto... why are you calling me this early" I was met with a sleepy Asuna as I laughed softly

"Sorry. I noticed you called me and I had passed out watching some movie with Suguha" I replied setting the bowl of popcorn to the side

She yawned in the middle of her saying okay as I laughed softly. I looked up at the ceiling reflecting on the past few years. Being trapped in SAO then having to go to Alfheim to save Asuna. Then we're just living our lives now.

"Oh!" Asuna shouted pulling me out of my thoughts "So the date. I never told you how it went."

"Oh yeah please do tell me" I snickered expecting it to be an amusing tale

"He was really creepy.... he kept touching my leg and then went around my neighborhood...." She said worry in her voice "But.... my mother agreed to stop setting me up with men, after what he did she realized that not all of them will actually care and that I love you" 

I had a huge grin on my face as I talked with her some more. Though I couldn't help but be worried about Asuna. That guy tried to touch her without her consent and then went so far as to drive around her neighborhood without letting her out. 

"Anyway Kiri I have to go, i'll talk to you later okay?" She said and I realized I got dragged into my thoughts again. 

"All right, let me know if he tries to contact you again okay?" I said with worry

"I will, thank you Kiri. Love you" She said

"Love you too" I said and she hung up the phone.

"Awwww you two are adorable together!" Suguha said walking into the room

I gave her a look as I got up and went to get ready for the day. I heard the TV turn on and listened in on the way back. I heard a breaking news go off and I halted for some reason and walked back in just to hear

"Breaking news Nobuyuki Sugou has broken out of prison" The woman on the news said. I tuned out everything else as the world faded out around me.
