Jesus where are you?
I need you,
More than you seem to know;
I’m sad, I feel low.
Jesus where are you?
I’m calling, but I get no answer.
Jesus where are you?
When I need you the most.
Jesus where are you?
Can’t you see I can’t swim,
Have you left me to save another?
I guess I deserve it, I shouldn’t even bother.
Jesus where are you?
I’ll ask again,
I thought we were best friends.
God does not lie; so I know it’s the Truth.
Or is this a joke? That’s why you choose to be mute.
Jesus where are you?
I ask again, now the waters are up to my neck.
They’re getting closer to my mouth, I’m shouting for help.
“Our lifeguard walks on water” they say;
I repent now, if I may;
I’m sorry for what I’ve done wrong,
For all I’ve pushed, and kept away for so long;
I’m not amazing as some,
What I do is limited.
My friends have abandoned me.
Jesus where are you?
Have you left me too?
