This theory started in the late 1960's claiming that the 'real' Paul McCartney dead in 1966 in car accident and was replaced with Billy Shears. Here is evidence that Paul is dead.
1) Crossing abbey road without shoes on.
Fact that Paul is pictured without his shoes on is often used as 'evidence' that Paul was dead at the time Abbey Road was released (in 1969) and was replaced by a lookalike
2)"I buried Paul" - Strawberry Fields Forever
In the intro of Strawberry Fields Forever u can hear John Lennon on the left channel of the recording saying something along the lines of "i buried Paul"
3) "Paul is dead, I miss him, I miss him"
Some also claim that if you play I'm So Tired backwards, John can be heard to sing "Paul is dead, I miss him, I miss him". Some people claim you can hear "Will Paul be there as superman?" on A Day In The Life.
