Quill's POV




"Alpha, we found her scent!" My beta said through the link. "Where?! I need my Luna!" I yelled back. "Alpha Chennings' pack lines sir." I sighed. Of coarse. Just the guy who hates me, has my fiance. I howled. I tried finding her link. No such luck. "Call him personally. His house line should be available." Donny suggested. I did just that.




"Hello?" I heard a females voice.




"Hello, this is Alpha Quill. Is Alpha Chennings there?" I asked while looking at my warriors.




"No, not at the moment. What do you need? I'm the Luna." I sighed.




"I need to cross territories. My mate has disappeared into your territory, Luna."




"Um I can't grant access to crossing territories, call back in about 15 minutes, and the Alpha will be here." She said nervous. I'm sure she knows who I am.




"Okay, I will. Thank you." I sighed while getting off the line. "Can we cross, Alpha?" I shook my head. "No access to the territory. We have to wait for 15 minutes." I answered.

I called. Right on the dot of 15 minutes.




"Hello?" I heard Sam's voice through the phone.




"Hello, Samuel. It's Quill. Can we cross territories?" I rushed out.




"No. You tried to kill me and my pack last time. I am not going through that the day after I'm married." He ranted. Bringing back 4 years ago. Well then! "Okay, thanks Samuel." I hung up, and growled. Great! I know she's not my true mate, but she's my fiance. 'Christina, where are you?' I called through the link. It worked, shocker. 'Leave me alone, Quill! I left you.' I howled. I ran towards my territory. I smelled an unfamiliar scent and followed it. It smelled sweet, like apples and cinnamon. 'MATE.' My wolf howled. 'What?' He ignored. I suddenly saw a small ball of something. The scent was intoxicating me. I shifted. "Hello?" I asked calmly. No reply. "Excuse me?" I said again. I heard a sob. "Please don't hurt me. Please." A small voice pleaded. I saw glowing green eyes. I locked my stare at her. "Never." My wolf took over. She whimpered. "Mind me by asking, but what's your name?" I asked kneeling down to her level. "Payton. Payton Hills." She said a little stronger. I growled at that name. Hills. "Do you know a Christina?" She nodded. "That's my sister, but she ran away about 3 years ago. Do you know her?" She asked. I simply nodded. "I do. But were not very fond of each other. She's on a different territory, though." I sighed, deeply. "Oh." She said. I wonder if she knows I'm her mate. I'll ask later. "Do you wanna come with me? Oh sorry! I'm Alpha Quill, but you can call me Quill." I stuck out my hand, she took it. Her hand was so........ cold. "Can I?" She asked, standing up. I nodded. I shifted, and she just watched. 'Aren't ya gonna shift?' She shook her head. "I can't. I'm a hybrid. A vampire/human hybrid to be exact." She explained. Well crap. She's half vampire, she's half of my mortal enemy. Well, wonderful. 'You wanna run then?' She nodded. I heard familiar thuds against the cold ground. My pack. 'Alpha. Rouges.' My beta said. 'How many?' '20, we got it.' He said back. I smirked. 'Lets go.' I said to Payton. She started running. She was pretty fast. I'm faster, but I'm also bigger than her. When we reached my house *cough* mansion, we went in. She stayed downstairs while I changed. I put on my basketball shorts. I walked down, and she gasped. "What?" her eyes widened. "Y-your not wearing a s-shirt." She stuttered. "Yeah, so." 'She likes it. Well her immortal side does.' My wolf said. "Hey, Payton. Do you know we're mates?" She nodded. I smiled. "Um, Quill. Do you know what territory my sister is in?" I nodded. "Yes. She's in Blood Nose territory." She gasped. "Isn't Sam Chennings the Alpha?" I nodded. "Why?" My wolf growled. "Um, I'm the type of person that has two mates. And he's the other one." My eyes widened. 'MINE!' My wolf growled. Im not losing her! "But he didn't want me. He wanted the current Luna." She frowned. "Payton, I would never do that. I can't and will never hurt you. Your my number one priority now. Your mine." I said. She smiled. She nodded. "okay. I will NEVER leave you either Quill." she had the prettiest features ever. "Your gorgeous, you know that?" She frowned "Eh. whatever. You can say that." She smiled up at me. My wolf howled. 'QUILL MARK HERRRR!' He whined. I rolled my eyes. "Payton, this may hurt, a bit." She looked worried. I kneeled next to her, and started kissing her neck. I felt my canines poke out. 'Now.' my wolf said. I marked her. She whimpered, then moaned in pleasure. "Q-quill." She stuttered. my lips left her neck and i smiled at her. "I love you." i said. "I love you too."
