Imagine being in Taylor's reception and saying an incredible speech leaving everyone in tears.

The news had talked about Taylor's relationships. She was portrayed as someone who couldn't take down one man. She was seen as someone who dated everyone who would come close to her. She was seen as someone who wrote about the people who broke her heart, blaming them for their failed love affairs. To you, you believed that Taylor was just finding someone who would love her as much as she did. You believed that Taylor knew that a part of it will always be her fault. You believed that it happens to everyone. You were angry that people would blame her for most of what everyone did. Everyone wrote about love and break up. Everyone wrote about their real lives and what happens to them. It irritated you the most that people do not see that they are building up double standards for women. But you were so proud at Taylor for standing up for herself and showing people that she no longer cared about what they thought. She was just going shake it off. You were so proud to be a part of her life. You were even prouder once you saw Taylor in her white dress.

You could see all the stars align in a perfect straight line once she found the man to who she would marry. It was a long twisted rocky road that she was driving on to reach here. She was finally here. By this time, everyone knew by the look that she was giving him that this love was going to last for as long as life would give them.

The wedding song started to play, causing everyone to stand up their seats and stare at the entrance of the door. The church doors opened for Taylor. Taylor came into view in her white dress. Her bundle of red roses were held by her hands. Her dad was beside her holding her to help her walk in her heels. Her smile was so big that it was genuine. When you looked at the groom, he was smiling even bigger than Taylor was. The look that they were giving each other was strong enough for you to melt into. Once the vows came, everyone paid even more attention to them.

"Taylor, I love you so much. I remember the exact moment that I wanted to marry you and I promise to you that I will always be here for you. Through every problem that we are faced, I will make sure that we face it together, love." Her husband said causing you to tear up a little.

When it came to the reception, you were beginning to be a little nervous. Taylor had made you one of the speakers for the reception. You did not understand why you agreed to this, maybe it was at the spur of the moment but it happened.

"Y/N, please come to stage." The host asked looking for you. You held up your dress walking up to the stage, grabbed the mic from her and smiled to the people.

"We all know that Taylor was known as the serial dater who had no idea how to hold down a man. For those who said that, fuck you. See where she is now. Sure, it took a long time to find the man of her dreams but things like this has to wait. With all her heartbreak that she received, she kept on going. She tried to look for the man that she thought she should and did not settle for less. Now, she's happy and she realises that love is more than a feeling but it's a choice that we have to make. I hope for the best for you two. I'm sure you will grow old and happy with ten children around you. I hope that I find what you both have and Thank you for teaching everyone that love needs to be waited on. Cheers." You raised your glass as people drank from them.

"Y/N, you are the best. I love you. Thank you for being here." Taylor said, walking up to you and hugging you.

"Hey, maybe he's around."

Yeah, he was.
