Wolf Bite

Chapter 1

Ella's POV

I slowly blink myself awake on April 20th, my 21st birthday, and wipe the sleep out of my eyes.

It takes a while for me to get my bearings, but when I do I almost shout in excitement. Today I'm taking all my friends to Mexico for my birthday. I am like really, really happy, I already told my roommates, Savannah, Braydon and Haley last week. They are really excited too.

It's super early though, like 8:00 or something and the flight's not till 12:00, so I try to sleep again. It doesn't work, I absolutely cannot go to sleep again once I wake up, so I get up and throw on some jeans, a tee shirt and my favourite hoodie and leave to do my make up.

After I finish everyone is still asleep so I go to the kitchen and leave a note saying that I have gone to Starbucks to get everyone a coffee.

At Starbucks I grab Haley just a regular latte, me and Vannah get a fabulous cotton candy frappichino and Braydon gets a chocolate frappichino.

I pay and then turn to go when I feel someone tap me on the shoulder. I spin around slowly, so I don't spill the drinks, and stand face to face with Alec and his younger brother Cole.

I jump a little, and then squeal, they had been my best guy friends since grade 4, but I hadn't seen or heard from them since graduation.

I hurriedly put the drinks down and rush over to hug them tightly.

"Where have you guys been?" I pretty much yell as Alec blushes and Cole giggles uncontrollably.

"We went... To England, for a whole year!" states Alec proudly.

"Oh my god, thats so exciting, I'm so happy for you guys," I say knowingly, they had alway wanted to go to England.

"Thanks, oh, um, hey how is Haley doing?" Asks Cole nervously. I chuckle a little, they both absolutely had loved each other in grade school, but neither had admitted it.

"She's perfectly fine Cole. Oh hey I'm going to Mexico for my birthday, wanna come? I can probably buy two more plane tickets for today," I say, hopefully.

"Hells yeah!" Shouts Alec.

"Why would we ever want to miss that?" Asks Cole.

I giggle "Awww you guys are so sweet, thank you. Come on then, we're leaving in three hours and I want to grab a pizza before we leave." They smile at my enthusiasm and follow me to my car.

It just so happens that they parked right next to my sweet dark green 67' jaguar.

"Wow, nice car!" says Alec as I open my door to get in.

"At least it'll be easy to follow."
He blushes a little and turns to his bright yellow Camaro to get in.
"See you there" says Cole happily as we both hop in, me with my drinks and them with theirs.

When we get home it's almost 10:00 so our flight is in two hours. I could hear everybody was actually up and functioning so I decide to surprise them.

I tell Alec and Cole what I was going to do and walk up to the door and knock on it. Once I hear someone coming, I quickly run around the corner and wait.

Braydon opens the door and I giggle quietly, it was perfect, he didn't know them, having moved here from Maine when he turned 19.

His eyes narrowed, "What do you want?" He asks.
