"And this is Michael" Ashton introduced me. The unnaturally purple haired boy smiled sheepishly at me, extending his hand for me to shake. I grinned, showing my dimples as I politely shook his hand before stepping back. Ashton walked off, leaving us to engage in light conversation for a couple of minutes until we were called over to the rest of our friends who were waiting impatiently on the park. Rolling my eyes I jogged over. There was something about that Michael guy that intrigued me.
It was the beginning of summer. The weather was hot. The nights were longer. Except this summer was going to count for everything.
