Jay tremored nervously as he waited for Kai's arrival. Yes, Kai was late (As usual), but Jay was used to it. He himself had also been late to a few of their dates, but not as late as Kai was now.

Ten minutes had passed by and Jay was still waiting for Kai. He was about to give up on their date, and giving up on hope that Kai would arrive. Soon, a knock emitted from Jay's front door "Just a moment!" The auburn haired boy yelled as he fixed his dark blue bowtie. He then ran to the door and opened it, reviling Kai in a black suite, white button - up dress shirt with a fiery red tie. He also had black dress pants and nice black shoes. Jay was shocked to see that Kai's hair wasn't up in his usual spiked style, but it was strait and lying on the tip of his shoulders as some of his deep brown hair slightly covered his chocolate brown eyes. Jay was enthralled by Kai's new look that he didn't hear his boyfriend calling his name. "Jay!" Kai yelled while waving his hand in front of the drooling boy's face. Jay finally snapped out of his trance and whipped the drool off of his lower lip. "Sorry..." Jay said with a slight nervous chuckle. "You just look... Astonishing!" The auburn haired boy exclaimed with a light pink blush dusting his cheeks. Kai chuckled as he held out a hand. "I've never heard you use such big vocabulary." Kai complemented as Jay took a hold on the other's hand. "Zane taught me them to use tonight!" Jay exclaimed with a soft giggle as they walked out of the trailer, hearing a "Good luck son!" From his dad and a "Go get 'em Jay!" From his mom. "Why did your parents say that? They've never said that before..." Kai murmured as they walked to the motorcycle. Jay's face reddened as he began to tremor nervously again. "N-Nothing Kai!" The younger male stuttered as he hopped on the motorcycle, and drove to their destination.

Kai stopped at a fancy restaurant called "Pistache French Bisto". The two boys walked inside and were lead to their reserved seats. Once they were seated, Kai and Jay began to look at the menus. "What are you getting?" The brown haired male asked as he put his menu down. "I'm getting the Pasta With Lamb Ragu." Jay explained while occasionally looking at his menu to say the name of his meal right. "I guess I'll have the same thing." Kai said with a soft, annoyed sigh as he brushed his brown hair out of his eyes. "I wish I could have brought my hair gel... My hair is getting on my nerves..." The older male said with an annoyed tone in his voice. Jay giggled softly at Kai's complaining as he stood up, and leaned over the table and tucked the strand of hair that was bothering Kai behind his ear. "Better?" Jay asked as he sat back down. Kai nodded with an embarrassed smile gracing his lips.

After the two boys ate, they paid and walked out of the building. "Let me drive! I want to take you somewhere!" Jay exclaimed happily as he looked at Kai's motorcycle. "Sure." Kai said and got on the back seat. "Okay, but while we're driving, you have to close your eyes." Jay said as he got on the motorcycle. "Okay..." Kai said and closed his eyes, and Jay began to drive to the secret destination.

Jay stopped the motorcycle and looked back at Kai, who still had his eyes closed. "Keep your eyes shut! I need to lead you to a very special place." Jay said and grabbed the older boy's tanned hand and lead him threw a wooded aria. "I'm glad we finished eating in time!" Jay thought as a light pink blush began to creep up his cheeks. Jay continued to lead Kai, until he reached his destination. "Okay... Open!" Jay said happily as he watched his boyfriend open his eyes. Jay took Kai to a mountain top, where they had their first kiss. The thing that Kai liked the most though, was the scenery. The sky was tinted light pinks and purples as the sun set behind the shining ocean. Behind them were all different trees, their leaves were different colors of reds, yellows, oranges and greens. Kai smiled as he looked at Jay with a soft smile on his face. "This is beautiful." Kai breathed as he looked over the scenery. "I thought you'd like it!" Jay exclaimed excitedly as he looked up at his smiling boyfriend.

'This is the time..' Jay thought as he looked at the setting sun. The sky had grown darker, with the pinks almost gone, and being replaced with dark purples

and blacks. "Kai... I have a question..." Jay said nervously as he looked at the grassy ground below their feet. "Shoot." Kai said and looked at Jay, curiosity clear in his chocolate brown eyes. "okay..." The auburn haired boy said and swallowed the lump in his throat. "Kai, I know we've only been dating for a year and a half, but I feel like you're the one. Every time I see you, I get butterflies in by belly, when you talk it's like music to my ears. When you smile, it makes me happy. When I'm sad, you always come and help me with my problems, and I do the same for you." Jay looked down, then continued, "And yes, we've had our fights, the little useless fights about what to wear on our dates or what movie to see. But over all, I want to spend my entire life with you so," Jay got on one knee and held out a small, velvet box. He then opened it to revile a gold band. "Kai James Smith, Will you marry me?" Jay finally asked while looking up at Kai. The older boy gasped as he covered his mouth. Tears of joy threatened to spill as he began to nod his head. "Yes! Yes, yes, yes yes!" Kai exclaimed as he hugged Jay tightly, as the tears of joy began to roll down his cheeks. Jay smiled and hugged back, planting a soft kiss on Kai's tan skin. He then slipped the gold ring on Kai's ring finger and smiled at his fiancé. "I love you." "I love you too." The two boys then shared a sweet, loving kiss as the sun set behind the earth.

The End
