Why can't I keep my dark thoughts, fevered mind, and no real line between reality and my imagination? Why can't I bare my scars proudly? I've been there. I've fought my battle with the demons, stood my ground, and survived. So many didn't get to tell their tale. So many are afraid. Why? Because broken isn't acceptable. Broken isn't okay. Everyone wants to fix you. Change you. Melt you down and build you in their image of you. Why isn't broken beautiful? Disturbance. Illusion. Insecurity. Darkness. Why do they have to be banished to closest? Why can't they break free? Chained down. Bound. So many. So, So many lives have been lost because they cannot be who they truly are. Why? Because in the eyes of the world, broken isn't beautiful. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder right? Why do no "beholders" see beauty there?
