I woke up like every other day. Got up, went to the bathroom and got ready. My wife, Kathy, as normal she stood there behind me and pepped me for the day. I think it was the veterans medal of honor ceremony, I was still pretty tired so I went to go get some coffee. I went to the kitchen to be greeted by Codsworth our Mr. Handy, a robotic butler, "Ah, Good Morning sir, Your coffee, brewed to perfection. And the newspaper." Said Codsworth.
Somebody rang the door bell, Kathy said "its probably that sales man."
"Good morning, Vault-Tec calling." said the man "you have been pre-selected to be in vault 111." he said next before I could even reply. What a dick, I thought to myself. Then he said "would you mind answering a few questions." I said "Sure why not." I didn't really care at the moment but I'm happy I did when I did. After he left it happened, the sirens went off and they were talking about nuclear detonations in Missouri, Washington, and Nevada on the news. Kathy grabbed Shaun our 1 year old son. Then we ran for vault 111 and that's all I'm gonna say for now, anyway enough about that lets get back to sanctuary and see how dog meat and Piper are doing.
