CONTINUATION OF NEVER TRUST A SNAKE.

At the time Mike was claimed as Vincent's "mate" it was a month before the Naga mating season. Mike had said that he should just go home and stay there until it actually starts, but Vincent said that he had to stay so they could get to know one another, that he wanted them to have some sort of emotional connection before they can mate.
"It's the whole reason I wanted a mate before it started," he began, "so I could interact with them. Maybe there's a possibility that you're my one true~." he carried Mike into his den. Mike's eye twitched ever so slightly and he was about to say something when he was set in something soft, he sat up and saw that he was sitting in a nest of some sort... He shook his head and glared at the naga who was now sitting(?) next to him.
"'One true'? What the fuck does that mean?" He felt a jolt go up his spine as Vincent sat up, alarmed by the question and looked at him with a surprised look on his face.
Vincent was at a loss for words, he was messing with him, right?
"Well, are you going to tell me or are you going to continue gawking at me?" He really wasn't joking, Mike literally had no clue on what it was.
"How could you not know what a one true is? Do you humans just spend your mating season repopulating and then just leave each other alone? Do you even care for your young?!" Vincent was shaking the hunter by his shoulders, he was told that most humans were heartless, but surely the weren't that heartless, right?
Mike let out a noise of frustration at the sudden bombardment of questions that ignored his own. It was obvious that he had no option but to answer them.
"Well first off, humans do care for their children-" he was cut off by a relieved sigh from the naga, causing him to roll his eyes. "And also, humans don't have mating seasons, they can have sex, or 'mate', when ever they want I guess. Or they don't have to mate at all. Like, well...me." Mike looked away nervously when he said this, preparing to be judged. But Vincent just cocked his head to the side and gave him a curious look.
"So, does that mean that you don't go into heat? Or do you just ignore it?" Vincent knew he was asking too many questions, but he had never mated with a human before, so he was curious an how they worked. They seemed to be a really different than other creatures...
Mike looked back to the naga, a bit surprised but answered none the less.
"Well, uh, as far as I know, humans don't go into heat, I mean I don't anyways..." Vincent was actually a lot nicer than Mike thought him to be, I mean, at first he was rather cold and somewhat sadistic.
"Well, know that I've answered your questions, can you answer mine?" He asked. Vincent nodded, he still had questions but he could ask them later.
"What is a one true? From the way you acted it seems pretty fucking important." Mike placed his hands between his legs, and adjusted himself so he was sitting on his legs. Vincent rubbed the back of his head and frowned slightly, how the hell was he going to explain it?
"Nnn, err...A one true is basically a mate that you uhh, mate with forever?"
"Oh, like a soul mate?"
"A what?"
"Nevermind..." Mike trailed off, running a hand down the Naga's scaly tail; Vincent let out a purr and wrapped his arms around Mike's waist, bringing Mike to lay down next to him. Mike let out a sigh, letting the Naga nuzzle into his neck.
He was fucked...
