~♥~Chapter one ~♥~

               ♠Alice's P.O.V.♠
Home. That's where I'd like to be. Back in sunny California where I could be with my friends. I really missed them. But thanks to my dad and the stupid fire pack that attacked us last month we all had to move . I mean Florida is pretty but I was going to leave my friends.

Anyways I knew that life here would be such a pain in the ass.

We finally got to our house. It was 2 story's high and had a porch and a big ass swimming pool. In the back was a forest Tbh it was beautiful and hella big, but it wouldn't change the fact that my friends wouldn't be here. "Alice start unpacking, I'm going to my studio to work on some things", my dad said. Ugh. He loves giving orders and he loves to work a lot. Since he's the Alphas beta he has a lot to do. Which leaves me to wandering around.

I decide to go to Adrian's house. My best friend in the pack. He moved in week before us, but not all the pack was here. Every week a new family would move in so it wouldn't be suspicious that 5 families moved in at the same time in Florida, in the same county.

The weather was pretty sunny and I could smell the green grass that had just been cut. I decided to put on some booty shorts, a tank top, and an oxford shirt on top of my tank top I also put on my black converse. I grabbed my phone and ear buds and went out the door.

The summer breeze hit me instantly and sent a shiver down my spine. I put on my earphones and listened to "Good Girls Bad Guys" by Falling in Reverse. I walked down my street singing "so why do good girls like bad guys?".

I finally got to Adrians street and just as I was about to walk up his parking lot I hear "ayy girl bring that ass here". I turn around with an annoyed face and see 4 guys staring at me. Ugh. Fuckboys. "Fuck off", I yell back. They're about to respond back when another guy comes out the front door.

Damn was he hot. His hair looked so soft and I imagined my hands going through it. My thoughts where interrupted when he said "isn't she something guys, with those tight curves and that big fat ass", and right at that moment they all started laughing.

Fuckboy. Of course he had to be one of them. I started blushing and I don't want them to see so I just turned around and kept on walking. "Aren't you gonna give the digits?", he asked. I replied with my middle finger and walked quickly inside the house.

I had enough of boys for today but I was about to go see my favorite boy. Adrian and me went waaaaaayy back. Since we where born we had a great connection. Of course he wasn't my mate we just had a brother and sister connection. We did everything together and did the craziest shit ever.
So when I found out that he was Veronica's mate, my worst enemy, I was very upset. You see Veronica and I have been hating each other since forever. She always tried to show off and put me down. As little kids she always tried to interfere with Adrian and me.

Adrian and her always had a connection too, but it wasn't after 15 that we found out that she was his mate. This really broke me because I secretly had always wished he was my mate. He was just really nice and made my day. Our friendship has been falling apart since that day. Veronica has tried her best to keep me apart from him. But she was still in California for another week so I had that much time to fix things between Adrian and me.

There was no one in the house so I went to the porch and sure enough Adrian was sleeping in a rocking chair. I sat on his lap and tickled him. He woke up and jumped which made me fall off his lap on to the ground with a big hump."Ally what the fuck, you scared the shit out of me", he said as he picked me up from the ground. "Well you are very hard to wake up sometimes", I replied. "So what's up?", I asked. "Nothing really, my stomach has been hurting all day and my wolf is very sad that Veronica is not here", he said with a sad face.

I really wasn't trying to talk about Veronica because I hate talking about that bitch. I already had enough of her bullshit. So I came up with the best idea ever. "I know what will cheer you up!", I said. "We are going to go to a party!!", I screamed very excited.

He grinned at me and we both looked at each other with a devilish look. In that moment I knew that Veronica could take away Adrian's friendship but she could never destroy our brother sister bond. I knew him better than she did and would always be there for him.
