Young masters POV
"Mom I don't want a new dog." I say when my mom suggests it. "If we get a new dog and Merlin comes back what do we do with the dog we would have just bought?" My mom just shook her head and murmured something I couldn't hear. I ran outside and found tracks. I followed them till it came to the end of the driveway. I saw that Merlin had crossed the road and into the neighbours yard. I gave up because there were cars traveling along the road and I couldn't cross. I ran back up the road when i heard a piercing howl. I ran even harder to the house, and when I got there I found mom and dad sitting on the couch with Ella debating whether or not to get a new dog. I barged in yelling "MOM DAD DID YOU HEAR THE HOWLING FROM ACROSS THE YARD!!" My mom looked surprised to see me back so soon. "No honey we didn't, did you?" I huffed and turned to my sister Ella, "Ella did you hear anything?" She just shook her head.
