We Just....Haven't met

Way to busy chp.8

2 weeks later

"Ezra is there anything I can get for you?" I asked happily as I sat down on the couch beside him.

"Can I have a sandwich?" He asked.

"Of course you can! What do you want on it?" I said as I got up and kissed him in the cheek.

"Surprise me." Ezra said in a very bored voice.

"Whatever you say." I said with a laugh then headed to the kitchen. It has been 1 week since Ezra got released from the hospital. I knew he wasn't out of the woods yet but I figured he would recover soon. He was making a lot if progress. He couldn't walk by himself yet but he didn't need an oxygen tank anymore. He was at my house for the time being since he got so stressed at his house. When my parenst where at work during the day and I was at school Ryan would come over and take care of Ezra. The two where starting to get along better. They would sit around all day and watch anime. I was kinda jealous. Since Ezra was gone I didn't have any friends at school. Everybody thought that I was creepy. I didn't care though because my main focus was on Ezra. All I really did in school was get everything done as quickly as I could so I could spend the whole nigh with him. Since it happened my grades went from straight A's to straight C's. My patents we not to pleased especially my dad but I didn't care. I had bigger issues to deal with. I walked back to the living room and handed Ezra his sandwich.

"Hey can you go get my fuzzy socks up stairs please." He asked me.

"Ok" I said tiredly as I headed up stairs. I went to my bed room and opened up his suit case. I looked up out the window and saw Ryan staring at me. I stuck my finger up at him. He laughed and gave me it back. I blew him a kiss then went back downstairs. Although Ryan and I where showing a little affection toward each other it didn't mean anything. I was with Ezra nobody else.

"Here you go, babe." I said and through the socks at Ezra.

"Thanks Hunt." He said as he put them on. My dad drove up and walked into the house. He was a little latter than normal but I didn't think anything of it.

"Hunter come here!" He demanded first thing when he walked in.

"Uh ok dad?" I said confused.

"What have you been doing lately?" He asked slightly irritated.

"Uhhhh....?" I wasn't sure what to say.

"You want to know what happened to me tonight?" He asked.

"I...guess?" I said trying to figure out where this was going.

"Well I was sitting in my office when I got a call from your school." He said

"And......"I asked still confused.

"And you have not turned in any homework in 2 weeks." He said rather ticked off.

"Oh.....I...uh I....I've been busy with other things.." I replied softly.

"Oh ok you've been busy yeah I totally understand." He said with a smile.

"You do?!?!" I asked more confused than ever.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME GO UP STAIRS AND FINISH ALL OF YOU WORK." He yelled at me and pointed up stairs.

"But dad what about Ezra?!" I asked furiously.

"NOW!" He demanded.

"FINE!" I yelled and stomped up stairs. I sat down and opened my Algebra book. My phone buzzed with a text message. It was Ryan. --hey open your window for a second-- "Why does he want me to open the window??" I thought, "Oh well it's better than studying." --ok hold on I'll open it-- I replied. I opened the window and looked out, Ryan was sitting at his window with a guitar in his lap. I was looking over at him when my phone started buzzing and scared me half to death. Ryan was calling me, I picked up the phone and looked out at him though the window.

"Hunter," he said. "I wrote you a song." I wasn't sure how to react to that. Was he in love? Or was he just being nice? Thoughts kept flying threw my head.

"Uh....ok..that's so sweet....." I said shyly. He started to play the guitar. I listened closely. His voice was so beautiful. I could tell right away it was a love song.
