Chapter 1: coming out to each other
Matthews pov

Me and Bradlee have been friends for some time now, but he doesn't know my biggest secret. That secret would be that I'm gay. A lot of people know, but apparently he doesn't. I have figured that someone would have told him. Buutt, nope, that's not the story here.

Anyway I'm going to hang at his house later, so I'll tell him them. It's gonna be hard cuz idk if he judges people for that or not. I sure hope not.

Bradlees pov

Today is the day that I finally tell my best friend in the world my biggest secret ever, that I'm gay. He is coming over in about two hours so I have time to rehearse how I'm gonna say this. I know it's weird to rehearse things like that, but that's me.

I really hope Matt doesn't judge me for what I am or what I like. I mean it's not like I can help it.

//2 hours later//

I was sitting on the couch when I heard the doorbell ring. Oh lord, it's Matthew. The big coming out moment is getting closer.

I go to the door and open it up to Matthew standing there acting kinda anxious. I wonder what's bothering him. Well, anyway I let him in and he sits down on the couch. I go into the kitchen to get some drinks. I come back and hand Matthew a glass of water and I sit down next to him and we start talking about each other's day.

He was saying how he was just being lazy all day. I told him I have been cleaning my house because it was a terrible mess from the party we had last night. It was really good.

We talked for about 30 minutes and I thought maybe it's time to tell him my big secret.

"Matthew, can I tell you something," I say looking down at my lap. "Yea sure, what is it," he replied. "Well, I've been meaning to tell you for some time now, but, Matthew, I'm gay," I said with my voice shaking from nervousness. I looked up from my lap to see Matthew smiling. "Well, Bradlee, I've been meaning to tell you the same thing," he said still smiling. I was so surprised. Matt didn't seem like he was gay, he seemed straighter than a light pole. Apparently I was wrong. "You seem so surprised," Matt said, jerking me from my thoughts. "Well I just thought you were straigh," I said, giving a slight chuckle. Matt replied, "well, I guess we were wrong about each other." "Yea I guess so"
