Chapter V
Anita's P.O.V
I opened my eyes and saw I was in unfamiliar place. When I looked around I saw Di sitting next to my bed.
"Hey! How are you?" she asked me getting up from her chair
"I guess. What happened?"
"You fainted sis. What happened exactly?" Then I remember what happened in the class. I dint want to tell her about my encounter with Damien. She will not only freak out but I have to go to the hospital again. I wasn't even sure if it was really Ric I saw or it was just my imagination.
"Hello!" Di said waving her hand in front of me distracting me from my thoughts.
"I can't remember what happened" I lied
"Are you okay? You scared me there. You want me to take you to the hospital?"
"I think I will be fine. How long have I been out? Why aren't you in the class?"
"Oh. its lunch now so I thought I might stay with you"
"Thanks Di"
"Not a problem for you sis" She said smiling
"Let's go for lunch now. I am kind of hungry." I said as my stomach made grumbling noise.
We went to the cafeteria and grabbed sandwich. Di and I joined Anthony and his friend's group. Zac was with them too who was looking at me. I felt blood rush to my cheek as I remembered that he carried me to the nurse room and not only that but I faintly remember putting my arms around his neck. Oh God! how embarrassing.
I lifted my head and saw Zac smirk look. Maybe he noticed my blush while everyone was busy chatting. I dint say much as I was busy biting my sandwich. Then I began to wonder about Ric. Will I be able to see him again? Was it just my imagination? I didn't want to go crazy but with this rate I think I will definitely will be one. I need to talk to someone but I don't know whom. Everyone will think I have gone nuts.
"Hello! earth to Miss Anita Jefferson" Di was saying waving her hand in front of my face trying to grab my attention
"Umm Sorry." I said with half smile
I saw Zac looking at me with concern eyes. I looked away from him as if he could read my mind.
"We were wondering if you will be able to play few gig for me and Anthony next month for our 3 years anniversary party"
"I don't know Di. I can't make promise"
"Please. Pretty please. I don't want to bring outsiders to our party. Just close ones only and I don't know anyone beside you who can really sing." she said grinning
"Zac can sing" one of the guy from football team said
"Umm.. Ya I can unless I am not included" Zac said smiling
"Of course you are included. You are football team member now"
"You joined football? Wow. Congrats on getting a place" I said
"Thanks"
"Ya. I heard a lot about him when I went on tournament last week to San Francisco. So, here he is a striker of Greenwich High School" Anthony added
"I won't disappoint you" Zac said with his hand on his heart jokingly and everyone laughed.
Everything seemed so normal at that time. I wonder if I am the only one who is a psycho.
