❥ Starfire's POV ❥
I was awake all of the sudden as I heard this loud noise. It got quiet then loud again. Someone was moving something around. I got out of the comfy bed and over to the door. I opened it quietly. I wasn't the only one woken up from the noise. Robin's door opened as well.
"Hello friend Robin!" I waved in the dark.
"Shh." He said and listened.
The movement kept getting closer. I frowned.
"Are you going to see what is the going on?" I asked Robin. He shook his head.
"No. I wanna go back to bed. It's probably something in Raven's room." He shrugged.
Raven! Of course it is Friend Raven. Who else would have those sounds from their room? She was so nicely sleeping. I wonder what sound had woken her up.
"I wish to know what she is doing." I said.
"No, no. Starfire, you need to go back to sleep." Robin urged. Then Friend Cyborg's door opened.
"Who's making all that sound?" He demanded.
"Raven." Said Robin. Then he added. "Good Night."
He turned to go back to his room, but I grabbed his arm.
"Oh Robin, please come with me to see what is bothering Raven." I begged. He seemed quiet for a minute like he was thinking.
"Fine. But then I go back to sleep." He finally said.
"Oh, the joy! I will do the sleeping after as well." I promised.
Last but not the least, Beast Boy came out.
"I'm tired!" he wined.
"We are going to check on Raven. Will you come?" I asked Beast Boy. He seemed to lighten up a bit.
"Ok! I mean, I guess." He said.
The four of us were trying to find the room of Raven in the dark. Beast Boy ran into a wall and fell down. Cyborg helped him up. I felt the walls until I felt a door.
"Friends!" I exclaimed. But I did not get to finish, because the door of Raven opened.
Everyone basically screamed in surprise. But Raven said nothing and walked past us with boxes in her hands. Then she went back into her room and shut the door, leaving us all in the hallway, confused.
★ Raven's POV ★
The Titans were out in the hallway. I must of woke them all up. I sat at my desk and looked at the picture I was looking at earlier.
A hot tear slid down my cheek. I quickly wiped it and scolded myself.
"Don't cry. Don't you dare cry. Be the girl that your supposed to be!"
I put the picture in a book and put clothes on top of it. I filled up all of my other boxes. Soon my room was empty. Just like when I first came here. Not what I had in mind. At first. Everything still felt out of place, but this had to be done. I had no choice.
I faced my fears, knowing more would come, and opened my door. Everyone was still there and it was like they hadn't moved at all. I continued to ignore them and carried my boxes next to the door, and coming back for more. Finally, Starfire spoke.
"Raven, what are you doing?" She asked.
"I'm packing things." I said.
"For what?" Asked Beast Boy.
"I'm leaving." I simply said.
"What?!" said Robin. I nodded.
"How long?" he demanded, the light from my room, shining on his face.
I swallowed and bit my lip. I blinked all my tears and fear away that I was facing at that moment. I had to do this, I knew. No matter how much I didn't want to. They needed to know, but I didn't want to tell them. It's now or never. I wished for never, but I knew that wasn't a choice anymore. My time was up. I had to do the thing I never wanted to do. And I had to do it now.
Slowly, I looked up. I cleared my throat so they couldn't tell how I was feeling. I sighed and narrowed my eyes.
...
"Forever."
