Overshadowed

Moving Up

-August 2, 2015-
It's currently 9:30 am and I'm packing up my things in my car. My furniture is being loaded in U-haul truck. I slammed the truck shut, and head back inside the house. Looking around the house now it seems so empty but full of memories. I past by my old room and stare at it a few minutes reality hitting me that we're actually moving. "Hey Lexi, it's time to head over to the new house." Maddie said. A new house which means new memories. We walk out of the house and I got inside my car, and we drove off.

The new house was literally five streets away from the old one. But when I pulled up to the drive way, the new house looked like a freakin' mansion. This thing must have cost a fortune! "Now girls, we have your names on the outside of the doors so you know which is your room. All the furniture is brand new, so please don't mess it up. If you want the furniture moved, come down and find a mover. Now go find your rooms!" Mom said.

We raced up the stairs, up on the second floor at the very end of the hallway is my room with a white board on the door. I opened my room, it looks exactly alike from my old room, just updated furniture and a tiny bit more space. I notice that I didn't have a closet door but I had a bathroom in my room.

I looked beside the bathroom to see that I have two Chelsea Armoire from pbteen and in the middle of the two, were a ikea malm. At the right corner of my room is a huge cream bean bag chair with two bookcases-filled with books- beside it. The middle of the room had my Chelsea Storage bed and Hemnes six space drawers. My bed spread was from bed bath and beyond and it was the Samantha dorm kit in multi. I had two bedboard bedside tables from pbteen. The wall that I walked into had two Billy ikea bookcases each on both sides of the Hampton desk. I also had a bedboard trunk at the end of my bed.

I walked downstairs and to my car, grabbing as much as I could hold in my arms and went back to my room. It took about five trips to get everything out of the car. I unboxed my clothes, neatly placing everything in its place, then placing my shoes in their proper place to. I next filled my bookcase with my books, games, DVDs, and CDs (& vinyls). I put all my things on my desk.

------------LATER THAT EVENING-----------

I finally got done with my room around 2:00pm and helped Madison's with her room, and helped with the living room & kitchen. We finally had the house completed around 9:00pm. Mom, Madison, and Kenzie went to their privates for dance and Greg, my stepfather took a late shift. So, basically I'm home by myself on a Wednesday night. Great, right? no. After texting some of my friends, Amanda, Tori, Brooke, & Julia, we decided to have a sleepover at Brooke's house. I packed an overnight bag and drove to my favorite house; the Hyland's household.
