You know, not all haunted places are houses, some places are much less obvious to spot with the naked eye. Take my mind for instance, looking at it from an outsider's perspective, I don't look much different to your average human, minus the wings of course. But, well let's put it this way, have you ever heard someone say, 'Destroy what destroys you'? I bet they never thought that maybe the thing destroying you, is yourself.
Narrator's POV (IDK, I'm sorry DX)
Waking out of his cabin, Percy was struck by an incoming wave of projectiles, of varying sizes and shapes, being thrown by demigods from both the Roman and the Greek camps; whilst they still had their differences they had put them aside to unite against him; as the saying goes An enemy of my enemy, is a friend. Though his face showed no emotion to all the jeers, taunts and harmful items being thrown his way. But his posture showed it all; his shoulders were hung low, along with his head, and his back slouching over as he walked towards the Big House, and in turn Chiron. As soon as he stepped foot on the steps leading up to the Big House, the demigods stopped throwing things, whether it was from the disapproving look Chiron was sending them, or the fact that they didn't want to hit the old centaur. Once Percy had taken his place next to Chiron, a blinding light filled the area, and the demigods were all transported to the throne room of the gods on Olympus.
Of course, everyone knew what was going on, so no one freaked out when they were suddenly in an entirely different place, but they were also excited at the same time, this was going to be the first time in centuries a demigod was going to get killed, by Zeus in front of an audience with the council of the gods. Normally he'd just do it by flicking finger, causing lightning to strike the (usually) unsuspecting person. Well, I guess it is quicker... And quite painful too.
Most people in the room were all thinking the same thing, roughly along the lines of How could he do this?! Why would he do this?! I can't believe we all followed that idiot; first he has the indecency to betray the camps, then to make it worse, he denies everything, even when Jakob had found proof!
Ah yes, Jakob. I suppose I should explain who Jakob is. Well, Jakob Covent is a son of Hecate, her cabin counsellor in fact, with charming looks and a personality to match. Jakob has been a camper for a couple of years now, arriving around the same time as Percy. But whilst doing an inspection of the Poseidon cabin, he had found plans to overthrow the gods, and blueprints of dangerous weapons lying carelessly over his desk, Percy's name signed at the bottom. Of course Percy had denied everything, but the truth was right there in front of them.Zeus's voice broke through the demigods' thoughts, bringing them back to the current situation. Although three, out of the many people in the room, looked utterly confused as to why they had been called back from their current jobs, and had their lives interrupted. All of their eyes widening once they caught sight of Percy; his dejected stance, his emotionless face, but mostly his eyes; like shattered glass atop a stormy ocean. Thalia, Nico and Poseidon seemed to be the only ones baffled, even slightly at the situation at hand, also fairly angry at the other people in the room for treating Percy, the savior of Olympus like this.
"Brother... Lord Zeus," He corrected sfter Zeus glared disdainfully at him. "May I ask why are we here?" Thalia and Nico looked at Zeus in agreement with their uncle.
"You don't know?" He honestly looked surprised. "Why, we are here to decide the fate of this hero." He sneered at the last word.
