"Yeah ma I-" I got cut off by the door bell. Slowly stood up wiping my hands on my sweats from eating Oreo cookies that once belonged to Karma. I walked to the door looking through the peephole. "Aight ma I'll talk to you later" I hung up before she could say anything while still looking through the peephole.
"Hello?!"
"Brian!" The person said. [If you don't recall who he is then go back to chapter 29]
"Who the hell is you?"
"A friend of Kaycee's"
"Where you know her from?" I asked, still looking through the peephole.
"If it wasn't for me Karma wouldn't have been saved"
"Man---"
"Who's at the door?" Kaycee asked. I moved out the way so she could look through it. She opened the door, embracing this guy.
"Hi Brian, how you been?" She let him.
"Good. Can I come in?" She nodded walking in as he followed.
"How in the blue fuckery did you know where she lived?" I asked, following them.
"I don't need to get into all of that. Can I sit?" He asked pointing at a chair in the kitchen. She nodded, he took off his sweater and sat down.
"So why are you here Brian? Would you like some water or something?" She asked.
"Water would be fine. I'm here to give you a heads up. My boss knows that I helped you out with Karma, so he's out for me, ya father and you especially." He explained. She nodded giving him a tall glass of water.
"I knew this shit was coming" I said, shaking my head.
"He wouldn't let that shit slide, I tried to convince him. I told him it wasn't that deep but I ended up with a huge gash on my back" the Brian nigga said.
"So what are you goin--"
"Don't worry about me I'm always good Kaycee thank you. I just came to warn you and let you know to be prepared and now you gotta walk around looking over your shoulder" he cut her off. Then the nigga stood up, finishing the glass of water. "I hope you listen to me carefully" he kissed her on the forehead and then walled out.
