Into the Game

We are so sorry it took so long, we have been so busy, but I promise that we have already started chapter 6! It has not been edited yet, so please tell me where the mistakes are! Yay! Enjoy and comment!

Everyone huddled together in the middle of the white room previous group separations thrown aside, half blood and wizards mixed equally with factioners. No one could remember what happened when they were separated from one another, only adding to their worry and nerves.

"Whats gonna happen to us?" Luna whispered fearfully.

Percy, who at least knew who and what they were ups against shook his head.

"I don't know...Luna?" he said unsure if that was the correct name to call her. She nodded and scooted closer to Neville. He slung his arm around her shoulders and they whispered to each other. Lavender walked over to Ron and put her head on his shoulder. Hermione growled as he did nothing to remove it. Annabeth pats her arm in consolation,

"Don't worry, they always come back. And if he doesn't- just judo-flip him. It works for me." She and Percy chuckle at a memory.

Tris nodded. "Just be brave, most boys are idiots." The other girls scattered around the room muttered agreement. Christina scowls.

"Well I wouldn't know. Sometimes your best friends kill your boyfriend" Tris shifted and looked at the wall, and the others who had been listening gave questioning glances to the pair.

"Don't bother her" said Tobias gruffly, walking over to Tris. Annabeth was about to inquire- her natural child of Athena curiosity was peaked- but suddenly static filled the air. The speakers crackled and Katniss's voice echoed through the loudspeakers.

"Hello everyone, the game that we've been excited for is starting soon. You will see capsules come up, get in one of them. Or die, your choice." You could hear the sneer in her voice as she cleared her throat to say one more thing.

"One final hint, one that someone once told me- stay alive. But of course I'd prefer if you didn't." she cackled and the speak cut off. A nervous, chaotic muttering began among the group until one high pitched scream cut off the noise. "The floor!" Lavender shrieked and jumped up and towards Ron, and tripping. Small capsules came out of the wall, just as a pit, bubbling with acid started to open from the middle of the room, swallowing Lavender, whom was still trying to get off of the floor, and she fell, screaming into the painful green liquid, and the others scrambled for the walls, watching with horror as Lavender tried to get out, bones becoming visible and her heart disintegrating as a cannon boomed.

Katniss's voice crackled over the speakers again.

"Time to follow my instructions. This will be the only time it saves your life." Some of the tributes were still debating on whether to go into the capsules or not, while others had rushed into them. The ones whom stayed out, uncertain included Tris, Four, Percy, Annabeth, Hermione, Leo, and Piper.

"I'm Scared," cried Rachel from her capsule. Jason pulled the sleeves of those closest to him.

"We don't have time to be scared. Lets go!" he cried and they all raced toward separate capsules. the other kids climbed into their own cabins and soon all of the doors closed, with a hiss. At that moment the acid covered the whole room, but everyone was safe in their capsules, until they heard Katniss's laughter echo across the room.

"Now things get really fun...for me" and the capsules shot upward along tunnels. A few screams resonated along the tubes and continued until they jolted to a stop. Percy tumbled out of his capsule when the door hissed open. He was still very weak from his encounter with Katniss and her henchmen and was unable to stand back up.
