Chapter Two

Avita's Pov

I wake up, a bit disoriented about where I was and what to me it was. I hear a huge bang! And I get up to see a bunch of people glaring at me.

"Uhhh.....Hi?"

Some of them snort, while others whispered harsh comments under their breath.

I bite my lip and close my door and hide back into my room until everyone left.

I didn't even wonder what that noise was, but I knew it was none of my business.

I got dressed, did my hair, and went downstairs to see if there was anything to eat cause I was hungry.

After finding a lock on the fridge and cabinets I decided it was okay to leave and buy something to eat.

I grab my bag, with my money and phone me and walked out the door, leaving a note to where I am going.

I walk outside of McDonald's with a drink and leftover fries in a bag. I heard a noise almost a mixed of a snarl and a howl.

I look around, and failing to see anything I keep on walking to the Lunar territory.

I keep on walking until I feel something cold glaring at me, but I turn around, seeing absolutely nothing.

James's POV

I run away from my family and friends, leaving a bunch of annoyed voices and people as I sped away from them.

I should not allow them to control me. I am next in line for Alpha. I will not obey!

I released a growl and howled as I said the last line. I keep on running until I smelled food.

I stopped and hid behind a bush when I saw a girl.

"She will be your Luna, she is your mate."

I hid patiently behind the Bush as the girl turns to face the bush as she felt me watching her.

I saw her blue eyes and dark black hair.

I whined lightly, longing to go to her, but I stopped, knowing something is off.

I smelt the air and saw a dark figure move towards her. Well, more like gliding towards her.

She kept on walking, not knowing that she was being followed.

I waited until the intruder came closer, and the girl was a bit further away to jump out of the bushes.

I stopped dead in my tracks when the intruder hugged the girl!

My mate. Let her go.

I lightly snarled as she squeals.

Avita's Pov

I felt someone hug me from behind. "Dylan!" I squealed and hugged him back.

Dylan and I grew up together, as witches, but one night Dylan was turned to a vampire, and my pack banned me from being friends with him.

"Hey Kid!" I laughed and he steals one of my French fries from my bag.
