I come home to the ocean in a bottle
As the bubbles tickle my throat
Its sweet surf pulling from my mind every ounce of fatigueMt. Dew Voltage is printed on the label
Salvation is what is read
Save me from this pitiful mood
I find myself in
Ease the ache I find in my feet
The gum band wound tightly throughout my core
Neck and shoulders ready to snap
Save me from the trolls I seem to find
Prying against my lids
Forcing them to close
Retched trolls, they are
They hide underneath my bed
Worm their way beneath my pillow
And when I've finally laid my little ocean aside
Tired of fighting against the banes constantly pulling at my lashes
And let my eyelids fall closed
They're there again
Riding every breath I exhale
Soft and slow like a summer's breeze
In their makeshift hot air balloons
Where they're going, I don't know
Where they're going, nobody knows...
But they've stuck with me thus far
And the thought of finally shaking them
Scares me to my core
For they're familiar
For they're home
And so I call them back
To sit on my lids
To hide underneath my bed
To call the cave beneath my pillow home
Put a welcome mat out front
Because you're here to stayWretched trolls, they are
I wouldn't have it any other way8-7-15
