I woke up the next morning ready for whatever life had to throw at me. The day was perfectly overcast (A perfect day for any albino) that meant I could go outside without needing to cover up my arms, but it was still warm so I could wear shorts (not somthing I am normally able to do.). So I quickly got dressed, slipped on Spooks vest and grabbed my bag slipping a jackt, sunscreen, wallet and my copy of Alice in Wonderland into it and went out the door.

I was halfway down the hallway when I got a sudden burst of courage and walked back down the hall and knocked on Morgues door. There was no answer. It figured, the only reason he had hung out with me last night was because he felt sorry for me. I turned back down the hallway with my day ruined and a bout of depression begining to set in, or at leas it was until I ran straight into a brick wall. I heard a soft chuckle and looked up

"We have got to stop meeting like this"Morgue said looking down at me. I just nodded, all of my previous courage gone the moment I heard his voice. "Were you just at my door?" he asked

"Um yeah, I was um... Just uh... heading out to find some breakfast and was um going to see if um you wanted to come, nut it looks like you're busy so maybe some other time." I said looking at the large duffel bag he was carying.

"No, not at all, and if the invitation is still open, I'd love to join you."

"Of course it is!" I replied happily if somewhat surprised.

"Let me just run this stuff to my appartment then, and I'll be right back." He said

"Cool, I'll be rifht here." I said excitedly and he jogged toward his appartment door. I was secretely very giddy and excited though I didn't quite understand why.

I don't smile often, on account of my sharpened teath. People find it disturbing, but when I saw him on his way back, I couldn't help but make a big toothy grin. His eyes widened a bit when he waw my canines, but he wasn't phased, nor did he ask questions. He just smiled back and asked... "Where too?"

For the next couple of weeks, whenever he wasn't working we were hanging out. We were becoming quite inseperable and I have to admit, I was starting to have strong feelings for him and was developing a decent crush on the guy. However I was keeping secrets from him. I didn't tell him about Harvy, or about my mother, or the fact that in a couple of months I would really need a job. All he knew was that I was a foster kid with a difficult past. I wanted to keep it that way for as long as possible.
