I hear her charging up the stairs. She isn't very happy today. What is she going to do to me today?

Stacey slams the door open with a belt in her hand. "Remember, if you scream, we will take a trip to the room." I curl up in a ball and wait for the pain. She strikes me once. The pain surges through my body. She hits a second time. I barely hold my breath to keep in the screams. Three. I let out a painful, blood curdling scream. She stops. I feel a jerk on my hair. "I warned you!"

She drags me all the way down stairs into the basement or as she calls it... the room. She flips on the lights, revealing her tools of pain. "Please." I whisper, the tears stream down my face like a flowing river.

She looks at me. Then goes back to her table of weapons. She grabs me and chains my hands and feet to the wall. She takes a pipe from behind her back. The tears keep coming as I beg for mercy. She hits my side once, then my shoulder, and my face. I scream bloody murder before I pass out from the pain.

I wake up still chained to the wall. I feel something wet dripping from the side of my mouth and my shoulder. I touch it and look down and the red that covers my finger. Blood. Stacey storms down the stairs. "All right you little bitch. Time to get out." She walks over and unchains me. I drop to the floor. She walks away. I get up and limp to my bedroom.

I look in the mirror. My eyes are bruised along with every other part of my body. I can't live like this. For sixteen years she has abused me for her own pleasure. It needs to stop I just have to get out... I have to escape.

I search my closet for my wallet. I find it between bloody clothes. Ten dollars and forty-five cents. I can't survive on that. But it can at least get me a bus ticket out of here.

Just then Stacey whips the door open and spies the wallet. "What is that?" She snatches it from my hand. "You've been stealing from me!!!" She raises her fist and gives me a good blow to the face. I fall over onto my bed and look up just as she leaves. Great... Now that is gonna make me suffer more tonight than usual.
