Starstruck

Chapter 1

His melodious voice wafted through the air as he sang the song that had almost all the girls in the crowd crying and screaming.The noise from the crazed teens all around did nothing to prevent me from hearing his voice loud and clear as if his words were only meant for me.

Here he was the guy I never knew before today all in his white glory.His white shirt hugged his physique like second skin and I couldn't stop thinking of my hands running all over his body.As he sang his hazel brown eyes connected with mine and at that moment I knew I was caught up had just been locked in chains with this guy.Suddenly I started drowning and chocking I tried opening my eyes but I couldn't "Kylie!!"my mother shouted snapping me out of my reverie.I pried my eyes open and there she was looking more stern than ever when she was the one at fault for wetting my bed." there is school today in case you have forgotten "she said before she left making sure she banged the door.Typical of my mom tantrums like a two year old.School!! Yay I unwillingly got out of my blankets and trudged to the bathroom." Young lady better listen" my mom said from the door of the bathroom as she dived into her monotonous long speech on the importance of education.

The Bell rang as I entered the school hallway.It was almost empty with only a few students on rush mode.I intentionally walked slowly dreading my first period with Mrs Malik.Sleeping tablet.Paula the school head girl as usual came and gave me the detention slip with that patronising look and walked  away swaying her hips.Proud bitch.The hatred was mutual I surely made her duty more difficult whereas looking at her just made me miserable.My mom was going to have something to say tonight.

All the drooping eyes turned torwads me as I opened the maths class door.Maya at the back was already flat out on her desk."Kylie already a little tardy on the first day of school,"Mrs malik said definitely not pleased.Don't think its my fault though always was a grumpy old woman."l don't think little was appropriate "l smirked as these words  came out of my mouth.Her face turned red as the whole class burst out laughing." Miss Woods detention for the whole week"she screamed handing me my second detention sleep for the day.l took the seat Maya had already chosen for me perfectly at the back of the class.

A paper plane landed on my desk I smiled knowing who it was from Maya Angelo the best girl on earth.
Why didn't you come to Jack's party yesterday? It was blazing and guess what THE BRAD asked me out.
I could feel Maya's excitement in her note.She always liked Brad. The school's star student good at everything.Straight A student best basketball captain since 1999 in the school.Hosts the best parties in the history of Nashville high.Last but not least a Greek sex god flawless from head to toe.Its a pity he's the biggest asshole I've ever met.
My mother stopped me
I replied then threw the paper plane back.I looked at Miss Malik trying to listen maybe I will make a better future out of it but her voice became a lullaby sending me to the land of the sleeping.

Finally lunch time I rushed out of the music class in search of Maya.I looked for her over peoples heads and found her leaning on one of the lockers locking lips with Brad.Their lip locking session was getting more heated by the second such that I had to clear my throat for their attention.Maya raised her head and started blushing untangling herself from Brad."Kylie this is Brad,Brad Kylie"Maya introduced us .Brad turned and gave me a heartwarming smile"I know her the girl who danced for Jack at my party."One hell of a drunken party ."I didn't know I was this popular" I answered sarcastically .Brad bowled over laughing he had a kind of deep voice.A group of jock's came by and Jack aka the manwhore of Nashville  tapped Brad on the back and they went whilst they cheered him on."What was that for?" Maya asked me bewildered."He got you in the sack so they are congratulating him.Maya looked at me crestfallen waiting for me to withdraw my cold truth but I continued "He is using you can't you see." "Don't be jealous he ain't "she answered "l'm just being a concerned friend"I tried reasoning with her.Angrily she shouted "don't give me bs..." I cut her off "l don't want to fight but don't say I didn't warn you"vehemently  " l won't need to".Mock touching my heart "harsh much dear."Walking away she mumbled some words like she always does when she's angry.Looks like I don't have a friend for today's lunch.Due to my sassy attitude she was the only friend I had the only one who could tolerate me.

I entered the cafeteria and saw Maya on Brads laps at the Jock's table.When I passed their table Jack wolfwhistled and I flipped him off." Did you hear the news on the Rialto"Sasha the gossip girl on the lunch line said."Greetings of the day to you too"l answered .Sasha just rolled her eyes and continued"They are four new students from Australia"she waited for a reaction but I just gave her the do I look like I care look "Aa boring you but so you know they are smoking hot they are in the principals office now" she got her food and went."How are you Kylie?"the lunch lady greeted me with a smiley face "I'm fine and you Mrs...eh Murphy exactly." Amused she gave me my french fries stating"Don't you just look like your mother"not knowing what to kindly say to that I just mumbled a yeah and left the cafe.

My phone vibrated and I started scrolling down reading my texts whilst walking till I bumped into a wall.What a fine wall it was!Smelling of cologne.I decided to feel the texture of this fine wall.It felt like soft fabric weirdly the wall decided to move freaking me out and I jumped back."So are you done feeling my abs"a husky voice inquired.I was embarrassed.Deciding to keep my dignity I looked up defiantly and my eyes met hazel brown ones.It can't be.I fainted on the spot.
