Journal of a Freak

Chapter 2

Here I am, writing again. So today wasn't an AWESOME day for me umm yea. Let me start. I woke up with the seriously annoying noise of my alarm clock then watched as my brother Asher groaned and got up. (I share rooms with all the quadruplets). After him was Nova who was already awake and changed waiting for us to wake up. "The early bird catches the worm." She mumbled as she waited for us to get up. Then I saw Alice walking out of her closet already changed brushing her hair. She had simple ripped jeans, a white and black fingerless glove, a shirt and as usual a little too much eyeliner. I looked at Asher again still groaning but walking towards his closet. I ran in mine and picked probably the most random things to wear. A shirt, jeans, hoodie and some eyeliner. I do not dress to impress anyone. When we finally went downstairs, Trixie was up packing her bag ready to leave. (We don't go to the same school and hers start earlier then ours). She greeted us then quickly left running to her bus. Nova helped me get some cereal for everyone then we sat down and ate as we talked a little.
"Ugh I have language arts... How about you guys?" Nova smiled at us as she chewed some of her cereal.
"I have math." Asher smiled at her.
"English..." Alice groaned.
"Elise? Elise????" Nova snapped her fingers in my face.
"Sorry I dozed off I have science." I weirdly smiled at them as they glared at me.
"We better get going if we wanna make it in time there." Asher said as he tucked a book in his bag. We were going to walk that's why we had to be quick. Alice quickly wore her boots as Nova put on her jacket. I checked my bag one last time and sighed. Asher gave me a pat on the back and we started walking. It was a long and boring walk to school. It seemed like forever even though we made it there 15 minutes early. Alice ran towards her locker, grabbed her stuff, waved at us then walked off. Asher and Nova decided to walk together and asked me if I wanted to join. I declined their request. I grabbed my stuff and walked slowly. It was all ok until I spotted two girls (yes they are familiar names to me) their names are Courtney Smith and Stacy Williams. They glared at me as soon as they saw me, then started to whisper. After a while they stood up and walked towards me.
"Hello Freak." Courtney chuckled and gave me a heavy push.
"What do you have here?" Stacy grabbed my bag from me and opened it. She threw some books on the floor and then threw the bag away.
"This necklace is just ugh. There isn't a word in the dictionary to describe how ugly it is just like you." She grabbed the charm in the end of my necklace and pulled it really tightly. I gasped because if the lack of air for a second then backed off from them picking up my books.
"Go die Freak you would make everyone so happy if you jumped off a cliff." Courtney started ti laugh hysterically. Then Stacy grabbed my long hair, pulled it and pushed me down. I could feel my eyes tearing up.
"You bitch sleep and never wake up!" Stacy kicked me then walked off with Courtney. I started to cry then grabbed my stuff and ran to class. Then it was all boring until lunch. At lunch I sat with my siblings (duh) and we talked more then usual.
"I got a 100 from my science exam!" Nova shouted with delight. Science was her favorite topic it was no surprise.
"Nice Nova!" Asher smiled at her and high fived. Alice gave her a thumbs up and I smiled at her warmly.
"Hehe." Nova laughed slightly as she chewed on her salad.
"How's everything going Elise?" Asher asked me with a suspicious look. I honestly do not want him knowing about what happened earlier. It's my problems... And I do not want him to get involved in it for his own good.
"I'm fine thanks Ash." I gave him your average smile. Ugh I hate lying at my siblings. Never mind. After lunch we again separated for our classes. We have very few classes together. And those are most of the tome specialist. You know like, technology, language arts, art. But of coarse Courtney and Stacy won't leave me alone. We had a break between classes (10 minutes) I went down to my locker to get the materials needed for the next class and guess what? My locker had at least 3 NOTES sticked on it and they were written with neon colors and HUGE letters. My heart sank that moment when I read them.
"GO CUT YOURSELF"
"FREAK"
"DIE"
I ripped them before any of my siblings popped out of no where and dumped them in the trash.The rest if the day was ok. When I walked back home Trixie was the first one to hug me. My dear 13 year old. I hugged her back and patted her back. I had the feeling she could have sensed my feelings. As long as I have my siblings, I will be fine. Because I know that they will be there for me no matter what (its in the Quadruplet Code. Oh and the Quadruplet Code is a bunch of rules we have to obey to keep the harmony I'd say between us). The rest of the day went normal. I did homework, ate, spent time with my beloved siblings and wrote this. I know if I just think good I will be fine... I can choose my mood and I picked 'happiness' I don't care if this pain is too real, I don't care if my cuts won't heal. I will stay positive and happy.
